I am a Date Palm. Winds may threaten, bend and
and snap back my trunk; nests between my frondy
bonnet yet remain firm -- from me, the palm, feathered
survivors have learned, resilience; and the selfless nature
of lofty giving. Dates ripen, young chirping for their meal.
Mothers not having far to travel. One can say, I am bed
and breakfast service. No need to call and wait for market
delivery. Lookout of the desert, mast and sail of the sandy
dunes. When comes the wind I whistle a nurturing tune. Such
music both lullaby and grateful prayer. Proud member of Club Oasis.
A person's bottom isn't really a person's bottom ~
a person's bottom is really their feet.
I shared this thought with Hilary Clinton Rodham,
and she said she thought ~ that thought was kinda neat.
You have put different characters in your mind,
Searching for love that anyone in this world have tried, but it's really hard to find.
You paid your attention to the treasures that you could probably feel
the soothing sensation of living in this harmonious systematic universe that is unreal
Yet, no one could question your existence in this world that you created in your mind for an innocuous thrill
A space where you were able to stand still, because you cannot be punished for the times you killed and the moments that you are planning to steal.
And that is how idealistic the society I wanted to deal.
But funny how this humankind could turn you into a creep.
By searching for love you cannot have the person you wanted to keep
A set of standards, words that rip
You have to learn how to swim in this horrible ocean so deep
And you have no idea what happens when you dared to skip.
With winged truth and wisdom,
I bear secrets and change
that may aid human journeys.
My caws sound guidance to
persuade soul growth and as
helm, I join earth to God’s realm.
Follow this picture of a cipher
until the paint has set
& dried
They tarred & feathered a
Phoenix rising
and paved the way
for it to rise
They tried to sever golden
wings & many were in
so they could fleece
This only awakened what had
been sleeping
& resurrected the
deceased
May sleeping minds rest in peace
while they decipher
waking dreams
In a world built upon perceptions
things are rarely what
it seems
It's coming apart & loosened seams
expose deception behind
the veil
What's grounded today will
fly tomorrow
as sunken ships emerge
to sail
Their hearts are weighed
on sliding scales
& things can slip
when they are wet
Each act is liquid but all is leveled
so they'll endure what
they beget
There's no regrets while
in the moment
but things are clear
in sights behind
Eyes once covered now see it
clearly
they followed others
leading blind
How can I read when I have no eyes?
No sight to behold
No thought to provoke.
How can I hear when I have no ears?
No sounds to bare
No tone is fair.
How can I speak when I have no tongue?
No lives to swear
No way to dare.
How can I move when I have no limbs?
No direction worth traveling
No path worth riding.
How can I think when I have no thought?
No purpose is clear
No life is here.
When you meet the right man, you will know he's the one..
You know you will marry him, before you're all done.
Is it the spark in his eye, or simply the way that he walks?
Is it the way he looks at you, during the long evening talks?
The way he talks to his mother, tells you all you need to know.
If he is respectful and loving, he will also treat you so.
Utmost excitement
Couldn't erase my dark moments;
Gravity dragged me...
What is this thing
called, Divine Love?
I felt it strong, in a
fiery daze; touched by
it, though my mind and
soul feverishly ablaze!
Cooled was my beaded
brow -- and swear I heard,
Eternal Love is with you
now --
What is this thing called
Divine Light? Saw it bright
on a raging night. Bullets and
shrapnel fell every other member
of my troop -- suddenly, surrounded
me, a Divine loop -- and again, not
knowing why nor how...I heard a
voice -- Divine light is protecting
you now --
2 times I felt, all hope seemed
lost. 2 times I felt, life is
a gamble~ Pal, this time you have royally
lost! Stood before me, a demon, extending
his lethal claw. Not seeing from where, nor knowing
how -- again I heard, have faith~ be brave, My Son --
in the past, delivered you from evil I...and will not
forsake you now!
FOREST
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the trees whisper low
of ancient wisdom, secrets
language of the wind
ancient trunks stand tall
gnarled and twisted and ageless
wisdom in their bark
Spirit guide from above,
reveal the ways of love.
Tell me, my guardian snail.
Son, don't ever worry
or be in a hurry -
know that true love will prevail.
GIVING PRAISES
Your wisdom’s cistern,
Filling the cup of my soul;
Guidance overflows:-
My saucer of mind,
Nourishes my word-spirit
With uplifting joy:-
Your enlightenment,
Reveals all that must be sown,
That truth may be reaped:-
May your vibing waves,
Continue frothing my mind’s
Shores with peace and love:-
Behemoth, dust-born grace
Gentle wisdom’s own face
Savannah’s ivory dusks
Rhythm of moonlit tusks
Beckoning our worship
And lifting Mother Earth up
On a train
Heard man splain
Female brain
Such a strain
Long refrain
Total pain
Real cross grain
Just a stain
Up stood Jane
Made it plain
Straight explain
To contain
His campaign
In wrong vein
Not his lane
Just insane
OF AND IN DIVINE WISDOM
Poured from His cistern,
Inking heart and mind tablets:
God’s guiding wisdom:-
May your inking forever
Guide me in righteousness ways:-
With elephant ears,
And with the eyes of wise owls,
May wisdom be mine:
My full overflowing cup,
Filling saucers of others:-
Not just for me, Lord,
But may your divine wisdom,
Lead us all onward:
We, ensuring coming peace,
Love, and justice, in our lives:-
