Morgans Fool

Theories of killers fall from blonde to grey rivers
A man with a face controlled by a robot
Rolls a kart with forgotten songs of Eagles and Hawks
I fought a cry seeing our friends goodbye
I heard a ringing I could not breathe
Somewhere there was the missing voice of make-believe
An acoustic drink ,a punch of a swing off a tree
The peeling worn out shade
Lifts the suade off a Saturday moon
Rebellious fires burn holiday seeds of pumpkins and carrots
I tried to be different everyone left but were never here
I tried to be cool but the string of limousines got tied up in a tree of lies
I tried to fall in love
But ended up a 3rd party fool

Premium Member Still Mourning

There was a time they grew thick and fair.
I thought them friends. They'd always be there.
What made them loosen up their grip
and say, at once, "Abandon ship"? -
my long lost, faithless, hair.

Premium Member Hearth, Hair and Heart

I don’t want to ‘curl up with a nice book by the fire
on a long, cold, snowy winter’s night’

   No! I want something riveting
a story with some punch! to challenge me
           and my prehistoric convictions

Can it sit me up straight in my chair,
hair, not hearth, on fire? If not, count me out
            ~ my heart's not retired

I Wrote Your Hair Into A Poem

I wrote your hair into a poem
And it looks like allium

I weaved my words into a tiny strand of hair just to get your beautiful design done

You made me write your name on sunflower ???? when i touched it

Yesterday was a better half of you
Today is a name that stands with you

Every line of your hair
Represent each stanza of my words

Every color you find admiring
Represent the smile that comes to me when i see you

I wrote your hair into a poem
And it looks like allium

Premium Member Where is Beauty

Some see beauty in machines on wheels
souped-up sports cars, the ‘real deal’

Others find it deep in forest’s quietude
                     pouring forth their gratitude

Some envision a world of nations at peace
                     wars to cease, love increase

Some find it in flawless skin and flowing hair
saints tap into souls, profundity to share

Premium Member ponytail

I have a god
made in my image
god shows up in the mirror
awful in wrath
slow to forgive
god has a ponytail
and little patience.

Premium Member hair like gold

daughters' hair is silk
spun like gold into a bun
light curls hang on sides

Premium Member Don't Stop

Don't stop walking because the path is hard.
Rely on your faith; it will take you far.

Take the high road and don't look back.
Keep pushing to the degree where achievement is at.

Don't settle for anything less than what you deserve.
Keep striving forward; shake the mind of the world.

Remember, life will be full of shade coming from jealous people.
Continue planting your feet against all the deceit.

Nothing will stop your chapter from closing too soon.
Your book is just being written and will be on display in every room.

Premium Member Long Hair and a Red Light

While I wait for the light to change,
more than a dozen windows fly by:
the rooms of passengers
going somewhere

While I wait for the light to change,
a squirrel is busy
back home,
away from trains,
rustling heavy branches
and dropping pears
like heavy, uneaten dreams

While I wait for the light to change,
the rain got bored of falling,
and left me alone again,
the air heavy with moisture
and dank memories

While I wait for the light to change,
I count comforts
in squares of light
rushing by

I am constantly counting trains

Your train never stops
for me

Premium Member A Male Pattern

Pattern baldness depends on genetics.
It’s a matter, for some, of aesthetics.
Since toupees replace hair,
it would seem to me fair
if we thought of toupees as prosthetics!

On the other hand, some men instead
will embrace fate, and not filled with dread,
they swallow their pride
and take things in stride
when they shave every hair off their head.

Some smart men have set high the bar.
Michael Jordan’s come very far.
Charisma we see
in men who can be
like a Dwayne “The Rock” superstar.

Being follicly challenged won’t do
if when called “Mr. Clean,” you feel blue.
If you hate when they call
you Kojak or Cue Ball,
then a hair transplant might be for you!

Premium Member Buddy is Losing Hair all over the place

My dog loses a pound of hair with each step
Buddy is a lovely pet, without a lot of pep
I follow him down the hallway which I just swept
Eighteen clumps of hair circulating make me feel inept

Should I shave the big hairy guy? Would that be bad?
I wade through a swamp of dog fur, it makes me sad
Do we have to eat dog hair in every meal? Asks my husband dear
I pull a clump of loose dog hair off Buddy’s right rear

Premium Member her Holly Berry Hair

What do you mean her hair is holly berry?
This does not computer said her cousin Little Jerry
Wait until you see her, and make your judgement then
“It really is holly berry!” he said, the fantasy can now begin.

What fantasy? I asked, because I did not know about his dream you see
This holly berry faerie is what he had been dreaming of since age three
They ended up being a couple until her pointed hair got in the way.
“Her holly berries poked me in the eyes, so I simply could not stay “

Shallow hymn

Ring sonorously, industrial mega-chime, for which the shallow art is devoid of form, another tree's shadow in time limping passed the finish line, denoting curators in the museums of cunning that too ran dry, but whirr it does, like insectoid wings, and that which promoted took the win.

Premium Member Flamingo

Her pink hair is like a beacon
Similar to the green roof on my van.
It stands out from a crowd of, white vehicles
In the carpark of a busy shopping centre.

She ,stands out from the crowd of;
Blacks,browns, blondes,auburns
and balding greys
Inside the bustle of a, busy shopping centre.
Where in the blink of an eye you spot her,
Elegant ,and pretty,like a flamingo.

The Myth of Hair Loss in men

It is a Myth I tell you.
Men don't lose their hair,
It just graduates from here to there.

I swear,
If I live long enough,
And decide to take my shoes off,
I will find some there,
And have to start shaving my feet,
Which will be quite a feat.
