Hearth, Hair and Heart

I don’t want to ‘curl up with a nice book by the fire
on a long, cold, snowy winter’s night’

   No! I want something riveting
a story with some punch! to challenge me
           and my prehistoric convictions

Can it sit me up straight in my chair,
hair, not hearth, on fire? If not, count me out
            ~ my heart's not retired

The mind is willing...but the body...not always so sure. In many ways, I am the same person I have always been, and really recent this cashing-in attitude -- oh well. Well said, very amusing and relatable. Keep karate kicking.

In addition to 'karate-kicking,' I am training intensively on jujitsu jumping, whatever that is. lol. Thanks, Joe
