Where is Beauty

Some see beauty in machines on wheels
souped-up sports cars, the ‘real deal’

Others find it deep in forest’s quietude
                     pouring forth their gratitude

Some envision a world of nations at peace
                     wars to cease, love increase

Some find it in flawless skin and flowing hair
saints tap into souls, profundity to share

That's certainly a tried-and-true definition, David. Thanks for the visit! ~ Gershon

I'd like a takeout order of the second and third items on the beauty list to feed my concurrence. Shallow, somber, serious and sad mixed in well-written poetic lines.

Let's see: Shallow - check; somber - check; serious - check; sad - check; The 'poetic lines' have been written by a poet of the same description. ~ SSSS, gw

Me, too, Sara. Come visit me sometime. You know where I live. In that house deep in the woods. Bring your basket and a red cape, ok? ~ Big Bad WOLF
