Premium Member Love Leaves One Breathless

“Love can change a person’s life, leave him breathless, either building him or breaking him”~ By Poet

*               *             *            *

Cupid the great archer,
Shoots his arrow heedless!
On some, it cuts through the heart.
On some others, it only scrapes through.
On a few, it misses the target.

Once shot down, it leaves one breathless.
Heart trumpeting, shifting from one beat to another,
Rhythmically, making it pound quicker.
Opens in one the inlets of pleasure.

It makes one ecstatic and foolish,
With thoughts disjointed, emotions running amok.
Spirit confounded and compounded.
It is madness, a pleasant kind of madness!

It comes and goes, leaving one breathless.
Guts highjacked by anxiety or ecstasy,
Always in throes of a pleasant ache,
Making the heart run a race, keeping one on his toes!

Love starts differently in varying intensity,
But it ends in a familiar way, in the same manner.

The sweetness ends,
      infatuation dies,
 sour taste lingers,
      boredom persists!

Premium Member Five Years Gone

Five years have passed, we’re a little older
This spring gets warmer every day
It’s in the eye of the beholder
The summer starts with rains of May
You took advantage of this year
You’ve got no more of age to gain
No more of struggling with fear
No more of worries and the pain
Now all these things are left for me
Compounded with the young green leaves
 Your garden’s peaceful harmony
I have to live up to all this
Our google albums help a lot
Your marigolds are kept in bloom
 Your roses and forget-me-nots
They blossom brightly in my room.

Jesus was sent to Light the Way

Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins. We didn't deserve God's Grace and Mercy through Your Sacrifice.

The Jewel of Jesus: He radiates the Love and Light, Hope and Peace we all need.

Jesus was sent to Light the Way

Easter is a time of reflection
Easter is a time of blessings
Jesus died for our sins
Jesus, the Jewel, in Heaven's crown

God created us to have Free Will
God created us to Believe in something
God created us to have Infinite Possibilities
God created us to have Infinite Creativity

We are given so many Gifts
We have His Compassion and Grace
His Mercy and Love and Guidance
His Son, Jesus, who set free our Fates

For Mankind was on the wrong Path
We strayed into the Darkness of the Abyss
Our Sins against each other and God
Compounded over Time and Space

Jesus was sent down to save us
Jesus was sent to Light the Way
Jesus died for our sins
So that we could Live another Day

Premium Member Subtle Wood

I sit and look surrounded,
By this subtle sounding wood.
I can’t help but be astounded,
That something so simple could.
Am I free or grounded?
What happened where I stood?
These feelings have compounded,
And their meanings misunderstood.

Premium Member A Brand New Year

As we rejoice my tears are moist
Feelings have come and will linger for years
Twelve months; a year compounded
Compounded of betrayal; chaos
Tears of happiness that shimmers
We grasp these last twelve months tight
And we drop these last twelve months
Without a fight; a brand new year
A new year filled with hope and salvation
Glistening warm tears trail behind

Party

Alone in a crowded room
Encased in a bubble
They move around me
Like water, past a stone.

An overlap of traits
Each pleasant in isolation
Compounded and compressed
Into dark stillness

Practiced movements
A very convincing smile
An anecdote of sport
Try not to drink too much

The merry ritual
For everyone but me

Premium Member Doppler Vision, A Compounded Riddle

Dreams, do we imagine!?
or imagined for us?~ not really ours
man’s daily/nightly flighty escapes –

perhaps mystically inspired? Projections of a
superior curtain-wizard: His/its contrived illusions,

erudite brothers propose, the mind
a carnival trickster -- a phenomenal liar: such illumination
just mental, painted flame, no spark of true spiritual fire,

myself least fond of, the notion before the thinker...
the drink making thirsty the drinker --
like the egg and the chicken, the shell or the cluck
prayer answered or declined
and not a smidgen of exciting, wagering blind-luck --

Premium Member Another Cold Caught Me

Woke up today with sniffles and sneezes,
Compounded by aches from my head to my kneeses.

Called in at work 'cause I can't go like this.
I'll give it to others and who needs such a gift.

The pain in my head centers 'round my left eye.
It hurts so much I just want to cry.

It's Summer and I should be out in the sun,
But I'm here in my bed not having much fun.

I'm coughing and sneezing and this ain't no joke,
I try to talk and mid sentence I choke.

A Summer cold is the worst you'll agree.
What more will become of pore pitiful me.

Premium Member My Love's Love Languages

The love language of my deeply beloved love and companion,
whom I miss when were apart,
me waiting like a dog at the window;
my partner, my life, my rock when all times get rough, my tool girl, behind which, lies the mysterious power;
that dog again breathing deeply the odors of hope through that window with barely a smudge.
The idea, the research, the recommendation, the implementation,
like it or not, are working. The right tool for the right job.
Her Voice carries: through a towel drying there, through her table where she sets our plates, plates hungrily waiting, though you'd never know it.
Her complex thoughts are transformed, compounded within elixirs of fragrant love and craving with tender needs for validation and praise for love well-done in crispy-sweet light brown bacon just how you'll like it.
Her Voice whispering softly through my ears, her toes breaking for me at every turn.
Her hands then combing gently through my hair and softly and firmly massaging into me her gazes and whispers of love.
Her willing warm give at my touch, says, "Come with me to a world of Oneness."

Premium Member The Purpose Behind It All

The purpose behind it all

Centred in the vast self luminous void,
wherefrom all manifestations arise,
presence no longer by ego decoyed,
beholds in wonderment, offered surprise.

Separation from source births a yearning,
to re-cognise that we are living light,
which is the fun purpose of earth learning,
known when we so garner spherical sight.

Life dance of concealing and revealing,
compounded by bondage to space and time,
reveals love's potent power of healing,
as soul from darkness to light does so climb.

Liken life to a game of hide and seek ~
Where twixt bliss beats, God offers a sneak peek

Premium Member Sweet City Woman

Keeping memories alive thru the years
Abashed at why I was lost
Taking for granted, compounded by fears
Emptiness adds to the cost

All of that time, was centered on me
Selfish and headstrong, I could not be told
Though poverty stricken I struggled to be
Entwined, but challenged to be so bold.

Peaceful and Easy the Feelings of day
Each memory was a dear one
Righteous but foolish in every way
Assured by that Sweet City Woman.

Shall I never travel that way
Or navigate that distance
Really, it’s easy for me to say
Remembering in this instance
You were my Sweet City Woman

Personal Vicissitudes Pronounced Irrepressible Self Loathing Part Ii

Invisible to the naked eye
traumatization (courtesy
chastising and reproaching -
by fellow classmates
and later in life
birth parents and inlaws
dealt hefty figurative jab)
tremendously impacted yours truly
analogous to him moving bajillion miles away
compounded by his withdrawn demeanor

diagnosed when he reached middle adulthood
as schizoid personality disorder,
thus exhibiting obvious developmental delay
bullied courtesy nasty brutes,
who scapegoated and rejoiced
with hip hip hurray,
meanwhile I experienced
terrible psychological melee
escaping to safe confines of bedroom,
where I wanted to stay
for mine remaining years of life.

Retrospective review
now approaching my doddering old age
constituted more'n one cruel (cheap) trick
played on super tramping urchin,
who traipes across virtual global stage
ensnared within whorled webbed wide
spending his hard earned itty bitty wage
spinning one strand after another.

Premium Member The Butterfly-

The Butterfly

Flaunty butterfly
Passing floating by winking
Its wings flowing by

Alas smells those the
 Flowers blooms nectars of June
radiant compounded gifts

Garden center piece
Just received and released such
Aromatic sights

Even birds humming
Witness butterflies kisses
Its wings flowing by

Birds tweeting their cries
Radiant compounded gifts
Flaunty butterfly
