Alone in a crowded room Encased in a bubble They move around me Like water, past a stone. An overlap of traits Each pleasant in isolation Compounded and compressed Into dark stillness Practiced movements A very convincing smile An anecdote of sport Try not to drink too much The merry ritual For everyone but me
