Betrayal Poems

Ha ha ha gotcha!

Ha...ha...ha... gotcha!

The imagined intimated response
linkedin to a swindler's
imagined thought bubble
silently spouting you ain't nothing
but a pluperfect sucker...
rendered penniless suffered
courtesy a financial blow
now left forced to eat crow
forfeiting every last red cent,
plus if applicable escrow
being analogous to an indentured servant
denied luxury and security of nest egg,
hence peace of mind to forego
pipe dreams given the heave-ho
resigned to

Premium MemberThe Golden Ball

A croaking echo, dark and deep,
A princess shivers in her sleep.
She lost her golden ball of light,
To a monstrous, endless night.

The moon hangs, a violet stain,
As the bog begins to rain.
A frog, with skin of slimy green,
Leaps from a shadow, rarely seen.

"I'll find your ball," it rasps and sighs,
with golden flecks within its eyes.
But

What's your story?

What's your story?
Is it a sop story too
Cause seemingly everyone claims too
And maybe there's not a good story to tell out here

What's your story?
Is it worth even telling at first
Or you believe it needs to be told
That's why you get all grumpy when no one wants to listen

What's your story?
Why do you think yours

I am the keeper of secrets that I can not reveal

You have no idea of the secrets I keep
And how I really feel

I have been the keeper of the secrets since I was very young

I have been tormented by the secrets since when they first begun

Because I keep these secrets in my

Poverty of Ideas

If we are the sheep,
then leaders must be shepherds,
guiding us to rest, to water, to fulfillment.
But if they fail—
what is the need to follow them into deserts of despair?

The world is broken not by famine of bread,
but by famine of vision.
Men with poverty of ideas sit in the driver’s seat,
and we wonder why the cart

Not Enough

I told you to be careful, but my words were made of dust,
Blown away by a new face, a shallow, fleeting trust.
I saw the red flags waving, the warnings in his smile,
But you waved them all away and stayed with him a while.

Then a week passed by in silence, a space where we once stood,
Until

Confounding Essy

Forward you wouldn’t move
When expected in the groove;
Sideways turning is all you do
To aid the destroyer and foe.

And fastest you skip and dash
When there’s no need to rush;
Fashioning a facsimile ever tense
When all you do is sit on the fence.

But no amount of feigned zeal
Shall those sharp wounds heal;
Mountains of duping balm

Together With Nature

I see the way the trees sway when your name leaves my lips
I hear the screams of their howls and the thoughts they wish to blow away
Their thoughts,
My thoughts,
Our thoughts,
They become whole, they become one
Together with nature, yet keep me grounded
I still think about you, I see us in the stars

If I could take it back the bad
Know that I would do so fast
Retrieve every hurtful word
Before the hatred was amassed

We would go back to the timel
Our love was perfect and fun
And you'd look at me and smile
Before all of the bad was done

To there never being any fights
When it was happiness and

Weekend violence

6 People killed in one weekend
Just like that their lives end
The gangs laugh all the way
They will never stay out of your way

The gangs are fierce and unscrupulous
To kill someone is for them a plus
It is in the gang’s territory
You will only become a memory

The gangs rob, rape, and kill
For the families it’s like a

you were almost my savior

i'm at the bottom of the ocean
forty feet down
stones tied to my feet
trapped
i'm drowning
air in my lungs
can't breathe
suffocating
vision going black
i feel you
your hands grab me
pulling my up
saving me
thirty feet down
there's hope
a sliver of it
i'm almost gone but
maybe we'll make it in time
twenty feet down
you're still holding on tightly
i trust you now
you'll bring me to the

Hatred, Corruption and Destruction at my helm
		Defeat is no option

Satan wanted to do battle and challenged the Lord
A battle that would soon begin
God’s Angels descended being the Lord’s spiritual
Warriors and the Lord accompanied them

Others in Our love space

Watching us harden like fallen snow.
Its pure turns into dirt
We're half dead inside
We start a creed of recovery ,
A stain massacre will be the death of me.
Pretending we're built on solid ground.
Never really settling down
Slowly weathering away
Monsters in my dreams become real today.
A phantom start sleeping in our bed we made.
Waiting for
