As we rejoice my tears are moist Feelings have come and will linger for years Twelve months; a year compounded Compounded of betrayal; chaos Tears of happiness that shimmers We grasp these last twelve months tight And we drop these last twelve months Without a fight; a brand new year A new year filled with hope and salvation Glistening warm tears trail behind
