I would like to thank everyone who participated in my contest. I know the rankings are 1 through 3 but the poems were all written so well with poignancy and feeling. It was difficult and no matter wher your poem is ranked, just know it was a tough decision. Perhaps I could have assigned everyone a #1.

Thanks for accepting poems written about other than American Service Men and Women Oliver, it sure did put to rest my concern that some of us would be excluded from your contest. I was wrong. Best wishes Wen.
