your poem addresses the need for a ceasefire given the current mid east conflict. A ceasefire leads to peace. Fingers crossed. Best wishes with the contest

Good one. Everyone is choosing ceasefire of other themes. I have yet to see one of fireworks yet . That was what I chose.

I just read your Andrea. Perhaps you are the only one then. Thank you. I chose Ceasefire because of the Iran/Israeli and Ukraine/Russian wars.

More death with 'peace' too, I'm afraid. Can't see making peace with the Mullahs. They'll exploit the break to rearm, with Russia and N. Korea's help, and then all hell will break loose again... The Mullahs need to go, just as Hitler did. The Supreme Ayatollah will not take his own life, so we need to do that for him... My opinion, of course. P.S. By 'we,' I mean Israel. I am a citizen of both Israel and the USA. The Israeli in me does NOT want to see American personnel involved in this war. ~ gw
