Dead Ends

I pray to the god of everlasting remorse.
I rip out my heart to throw on the altar of dead ends.
May I be delivered from the sinful haters,
To re-establish ties with my benevolent friends.

I really like the line, "I rip out my heart to throw on the altar of dead ends." This is raw and so relatable. I really enjoyed this one. Nice work, Hilda.
