Beatles Title: Norwegian Wood

Beatles Lay it to me poetry contest

sponsor: Charles Messina

date: 6/1/25

Rakfisk is a fermented fish made of trout or char

Lutefisk is a gelatinous whitefish ususally cod

Norway

Norway is on my bucket list
blonde haired beauties I want to kiss
I must go to “Norwegian Wood”
everyone says I really should
but first I must land in Oslo
hope to watch the aurora glow
I will have to try some Rakfisk
that sounds much better than Lutefisk

- Rakfisk is a fermented fish made of trout or char (true) - It smells rotten ... I don't know anyone who eats it :))) - Lutefisk is a gelatinous whitefish usually cod (true) - A popular fish often eaten on Christmas Eve in Norway, with pea stew, bacon and boiled potatoes :) - Drink: Aquavit for lutefisk and rakfisk - I don't like these types of fish at all :) - Congratulations on your win, Oliver :) - hugs

Thanks Anne-Lise. I guess I did write about your home country. Glad you liked it. I am not much of a fish eater so I know I wouldnt be eating any of it.
