You are correct, and I thank you, Oliver. Imagine 3+ years of October 7's. Really, nothing compares to the stench of those mounds of skeletal bodies gassed to death -- waiting to be cremated. ~ gw

You are welcome Gershon. I had to block a poet on this site who took issue with me writing this and said some fairly vile anti-semitic things. When I blocked this person their comments were taken off. Thanks for reading. I have read the accounts of the GI's who opened up the camps. They were applalled and sickened.

Hatred, prejudice, bias have a long sordid history with sinful humanity. Interestingly many are unaware that an entire section of the Holocaust museum in Washington DC is dedicated to Jehovah's witnesses. Why? They were German citizens by birth and culture, but they refused to support Nazism. They maintained absolute neutrality. Many were killed or suffered in the camps. Have a nice week Ollie

Thank you Tom. You are correct about hate and sin. I did not know about the special section for Jehovahs Witnesses. I know many different groups suffered and died in the camps. You have a good week as well.
