The Gates of Hades today I visited your Grave my love I wasn’t sure if you noticed this cemetery is in a Godforsaken place the knobby old weeping willows lend a Ghostly tenor to the site the wind blowing through the trees makes a Groaning sound or perhaps it is just my imagination I am still Grief-stricken since that time ten years ago when your soul was taken from me and lifted to heaven on Gossamer wings I shall never forget you until my time comes

sad but lovely poem Oliver. In my village we have a very old church that has many young ones who died 1700's plus lots graves of young men fr 1914 war. Its kept very well as the site is full of flower beds all seasons & flowers on even the old graves. They are never forgotten.

So beautiful yet so sad. Hades, the common grave of man. I did a similar themed poem titled: To be where she is. Have a nice Sunday Ollie
