Hello fellow poets.  I have been writing poetry since I could write.  My Grandmother began writing poetry in her senior years to keep her mind sharp. She began a daily journal and being Canadian French, would translate the English version to French every day. She taught my sisters and me to form poems, by rhyming and counting syllables, when we were in grade school.

Throughout my life I’ve used poetry to express emotion. I am a huge fan of all genres of music which naturally leads me to love lyric and rhyming poetry with a nice flow ... but I appreciate all types and styles.

I’m so happy to have found Poetry Soup. This site is full of inspiration and encouragement!!!  Every day I look forward to visiting to read new work!!
