My love,
I was loving you like the root of a sweet potato—
tied to the heart,
but never to the feelings.
Let’s meet again in another lifetime.
That time,
I’ll be the one to find you first,
and I’ll hold your hand
before the world can take you away.
In this lifetime she is a mutt,
Small, Scrappy, sleepy, sweet,
Blinking eyes and gnawing teeth,
I'd know her in every lifetime,
In the one before she was tall,
Aching legs and honeycomb eyes,
Dutifully beautiful, kind, loyal,
A shadow with a wagging tail,
Before that she was white as snow,
Playful, pitiful, pretty, pale,
Sitting on the carpet awaiting my dad,
as I played with her ear and paw,
I didn't meet the one before,
I'm told she was quick, smart,
Like a pistol shot, a starting gun,
rescued, for a good life somewhere new.
I hope, when this lifetime is over,
I will meet each version of her,
Maisie, Lucy, Suki, Bonnie,
And we'll venture into the next one.
I wonder, yes I wonder,
how many angels do we have in a lifetime?
They say,
we each have a guardian angel watching over us.
I wonder, yes I wonder,
if some angels are in training?
Do they need to earn their title,
with on the job training?
Then we have,
Our Better Angels.
The ones we can count on through thick and thin.
The ones that will always be there,
there when we need them the most.
I send a huge Thank You to you,
my better angels.
Every moment gave me butterflies yes it did,
And I hope from the gaze of jealous gods our love we had hid.
There was light cuz you were there,
Now i wander like an ascetic unbeknownst to end up where.
Now grief clings to me like rife,
Maybe we will meet again my love in another life, Maybe in another life.
Even silence has a voice now that you are gone,
I still sit there from where we gazed at new dawns.
My darling you promised you'd stay,
Then please stop this bruising play.
I slept with your name tucked under my tongue,
As i was tearfully lulled by the melodies you had sung.
How can I ever move on,
Cuz You left with my soul and heart that you won.
You touched me like a prayer, unsure if i'd break,
But how can i explain that i only lived for your sake.
I hate you cuz you left with your memories deeply engraved,
But I remember that smile of yours and I forget i was ever enraged.
Maybe we’ll meet again in another life,
Where my memories weren’t the only ones
Drenched in your strife.
Maybe in another life, my darling —
Yes… maybe in another life.
In bed with you,
The swallowtails, I count their dots.
In bed with you,
Inside this box, the splinter rue.
This garden floats with spectral spots.
You seem cold now; I had the hots,
In bed with you.
Above the fray,
Where grass is green, and swans be loud.
Above the fray,
Clouds black and blue, the bullets spray.
The kissing lips of peril, proud,
With barely friends away from crowd.
Above the fray.
Seems a lifetime
Ago, our laughter gonged from bell.
Seems a lifetime
Lasts longer than a couple’s dime.
The ducks matter, but he wouldn’t tell.
Not in a row - all is not well.
Seems a lifetime…
scarce
time
hurried
steps
fast
life
Roots entwined as trees,
Sun and rain through changing years,
Still, the branches bloom.

Someone comes into your life.
Someone who just naturally,
makes you feel a lil happier.
You are that someone for me.
You have opened my eyes to a new perspective,
On a lot of different important things, including myself.
You have said things to me that no one else ever has.
I will always remember how you helped me in so many ways.
I will always remember you, and how you took the time to help me.
I will never forget, the times we spend together.
We always had a good time that left a smile upon my face.
Looking forward to our next encounter, anticipation of a child.
Thank you for being the awesome person that you are.
My world is a much brighter place with you in it.
May we always be friends, it would mean so much to me,
You have made my life complete just by being in it.

I love you—not in words, but in the way I stay,
Even when the road bends, even when you walk away.
You are not a choice; you are the only way I see,
A place I call home, where my heart longs to be.
I asked for a moment, a day, maybe more,
You said no—maybe reasons I’ll never explore.
But it’s okay, I whisper, it’s fine,
Maybe in another life, you will be mine.
Next time, let me be you, and you be me,
I’ll teach you love, I’ll set your heart free.
Then the life after that, we’ll switch once again,
And you will show me all that remains.
The months are slipping, time is unkind,
I wonder if fate will let our paths rewind.
I wish to spend days outside these walls,
Before distance decides and silence calls.
I don’t ask for much—just a little space,
A moment of laughter, a memory to chase.
A glance, a word, an awkward talk,
A little more time before we walk.
Don’t call it longing, don’t name it desire,
It’s not just a feeling—it’s something higher.
It’s pure, it’s real, it doesn’t demand,
Yet here I stand, with an open hand.
And even if you never reach for mine,
I’ll still love you, beyond space and time.
Always love for a lifetime
Though fate written in stars
Pink hearts still beat for others
Red blood always mixes in pairs
Vibrant spring, hard to find
To dream about perfect love
Flowers of the heart are silently sent
Iron letters warm and radiant.
Relish
your given time
Celebrate, acknowledge
Salute and commemorate with
Gusto!
The world told me to marry the person I love, but the bible told me to love the person I marry, and that’s what I plan to do, marriage is scary, and if it’s not with you I don’t want it, I do plan to tell you one day, I do plan to tell you the things I wanted to say, the way you look at me, the words that you say, can only lead me to want to see you everyday, I can’t explain how I feel, I can tell if it’s real, one thing I know, I love you so, I miss you more then anything, I watch you from afar, because I can’t have you, but I promised to never lose you, even if I had you, if I died tonight I promise to look for you in every lifetime, until death do us apart, you will always have a special place in my heart
In the country sides embrace, he wandered alone,
His spirit heavy, his heart turned to stone.
A homeless poet with dreams untold,
Longing for love in a world so cold.
But one fateful day, a light in the dark,
A chance encounter, a flame's first spark.
In her eyes, he saw a love so pure,
A love that would forever endure.
Together they danced through endless days,
Sharing stories, hopes, faith in loving ways.
She was his muse, guiding him from afar,
In her arms, he found peace she was his guiding star.
But fate is cruel, and time is fleeting,
Their love tested by a cruel meeting.
She was taken from him too soon,
Leaving him to yell at the moon.
Now he roams the streets with a broken soul,
His once in a lifetime love now in heaven's role.
But he carries her memory, her spirit above,
A homeless poet still writing of love.
We blindly traverse life’s vicissitudes,
Upheavals and harmony
An odyssey in search of love,
Beauty, truth and happiness
Lamented in moments of sorrow
Euphoric in joyous bliss
Recorded in hours, days and years
Till hands of death bring to cease.
