Premium Member Mission to Mars

The rocket launch recliner
propels her to the moon;
with Ativan for fuel,
she’ll be to Saturn soon.
When shortly she returns,
both feet upon the land,
and Benadryl departs,
I hope the trip was grand!

The Name of Jesus must be used in accordance with his mission

"In Jesus' Name" is not a magic phrase
Many need to hold their tongue and behave
God the Father gave his Only Begotten Son

The name of Jesus is the name of redemption and
It is the productive life of Jesus and his mission that
Got us back to the Father

The Name of Jesus must be used in accordance with his mission
And not with ours
Many prayers are not answered because
It is not in accordance with His Mission

In Jesus' name does not guarantee anything
We must bring ourselves to understand that
We should pray in alignment with what Jesus stood for
We should pray in alignment with the mission he was sent
Which was to bring people closer to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

"In Jesus' Name" is not a magic phrase
Many need to hold their tongue and behave
God the Father gave his Only Begotten Son

Premium Member Things may not be quite as they seem

There is order to my chaos
an urgency to make things right
I have ambitions I can taste
dreams that must be set in motion
once I see the morning light

There is order some my chaos
a plan when all you see is madness
I fear that I’ll run out of time
I long to leave my affairs most orderly
A fine book they’ll close after its last chapter

He'll Always Be There

The Father and the Son go hand and hand
Their mission in life is to heal the land
All great things shall come to you from above
Written in the scrolls, the book of love
Here God answers every single prayer
Where non believers then come to believe
New Christians know He'll always be there

Premium Member IN THE NOW TIME OF AWARENESS

The state of the nation
Within the nation,
Presents a dire situation:
Liberty cannot be won
By desire alone:-
Thus, as we face the rising sun–
With our eyes looking toward home–
Let not our hope wane in its fruition,
But ever fuel us in completing our mission:-
Pick up the torches children, and carry on;
Be the footsteps toward our freedom won.
The finish line still lies a little further ahead,
Thus, pace yourselves until the race is done:-
Then you may proudly hold up your head,
Honoring the blood ancestors decided to shed:

Premium Member contemplating poetic mission

like the full moon
seeking fulfillment
there i hung
dangling in space—
half empty—half full…

gradually
the tell-tale linking
of the gibbous moment
of truth’s awareness
came in the still of night…

then i realized
fulfillment is preceded
by life’s crucifixion
fulfilling resurrection:

it’s the emptiness
of life’s cross
that brings fulfillment…

once again i ink crosses
of words and pray
they empty themselves
and become
ascensions to the minds
of blessed children
anointing them with sacred
guidance…

we poets must never be
cocooned in non-metamorphosis
imprisonment of abject silence…
rather we must be evolved
liberated poetic butterflies
soaring life’s skies
pollinating them with divine
shared words of peace and love
and divine wisdom and guidance:

we poets must indeed
be ascended saints
of god’s cistern
sharing cups and saucers
of his shared words
nourishing seeking souls
with awareness
confidence and encouraging
inspirational spiritualization:-

Shepherd of the Shining Stars

I will wander through all the aeons and uncover all mysteries
As shepherd of the shining stars
Greek wisdom, the heavenly crescent moon

(Cento poem about Christ, using lines from the three surviving Gnostic/Naassene hymns)

Premium Member Heskeths Mission

Hesketh approached this adventure with full throttle enthusiasm.
She had never captured a star, but was confident she would be victorious.
Being the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter of a star counter
A clear vision of her deed had risen from the inside of her cauldron.

Her visions were usually smoky, this one was as clear as a TV screen.
Without a vulnerable star, her powers were half-mast at best.
She was clairaudient, a captured star would give her clairvoyance.
Whispers of what life could be with this power assured her queendom.

At the present time her sister was to be ruler of Amsterdam City.
Hesketh was fully ready to combat black holes and dodge meteorites.
She had her claw devices ready to grip the star and pull it back to earth.
She would have to be fast, for sorcery had given her a warning.

Others were after this star. It was up for grabs so to speak.
Six or seven psychics had seen that it was wobbly and vulnerable.
crew was sworn to secrecy, as they exited this galaxy to enter the next.
Hesketh’s heart thumped wildly as she headed toward her destination.

Mission

A Mission

I don’t know if I should feel great
But I quite vividly
Remember the day
When happiness told me
It could no longer stay
Because hope packed it’s bags
To chase after faith
Who was on a mission
To find out why
To this life
Did she just give up and say:
"Take it all
Happiness, joy, love, and hope
What good will they do me anyway
I’ve always kept strong
But nothing ever stays"
So loneliness thought
These pieces of me were
There to sabotage
Forgetting
It was depression
Who had very sharp claws
Gripping desperation
Of a soul
Self deemed lost
So to be honest most days
I don’t feel so great
It's probably because
I’m still looking for my faith
I thought
Practicing playing hope
Might magically
Make happiness come back
That’s definitely one
I wished
Didn’t leave me all alone with sad
Since anger has been here
Its created many structures
That hold no space for hope
It will take all my good traits
To deconstruct and repair
The hopeless homes
That held despair
Doubt and hate
Leveling out the foundation
For hope, faith, love, and joy to stay

Premium Member space cats mission

space cat zoomed in on two wheels, about to run out of steam.
Most of us missed her, others thought she was but a dream.
Space cat zoomed around the neighborhood until it got light.
Then she hid her space ship in the pine grove, way out of sight

She had but one mission, to see how cats are treated here.
She asked a few, but some were stuck up, showed her their rear.
The friendliest ones seemed to be held captive behind cold glass.
She pushed off at dark, heading back to Cosmos Planet McMass.

Premium Member Jesus Prepares For His Mission

Deserts, forests, oases, mountains, and valleys called him
The cliffs that touched the skies had mystic wisdom to impart.
Within the waters of the endless Spirit, he must swim.
He should, like the spring sun, shine with Abba's sparks in his heart.

Forty days and nights, he fasted and prayed, the scripture says.
Shouldn't seeds stay in the womb of the soil to be reborn?
The galaxy of Trinity must shred its holy rays.
Earth and sky must meet. Virtues, like flesh and blood, must be worn.

Did the temptation to work wonders for fame win his will?
Did he, like Israel, fail in his love for his father?
Could the urge to act against the scriptures evince its skill?
The furor over the evils, hence, he did not bother

To fulfill the worldly rites, he received John's baptism.
Who did realize, then, that he was beyond any ism?

Due to Earth tension
Mars will soon be our backyard
