I picked up an old recipe book looking for something appetizing to cook, the recipes were very old and something unusual was moving in my soul. I wanted a taste and resonate beyond the heaven, a taste that was different and one that would appease the global longinging. I have tried British cuisine but it was too cold and it would have rapture my soul. French and Italian was full of compassion; extremely romantic so I place an asterisk beside it but later I will see if that will fit. Chinese cuisine was too hot and Japanese was too flat, Vietnamese and Thai was too hard to comply; too much noodle would ruin my sleep and cause my spirit to weep. Mexican was too spicy and Middle East was too dicey. I still could not make up my mind and I want to bring the universe alive and appease their appetite and so I turn my head toward the sky and watch the cloud slowly transition in the sky.

But the truth that you miss is you've
Interacted all this-
With grace that deserves violins.
I raised my hands to the sea,
to see how far the waves would carry me
they were coming in swiftly
and moving from shore to shore
but my heart was yearning for more
the road ahead is long
and all I want is to compose my own song
and the sea is the place I would rather be
to see the earth meet with the sun before the day is done.
Follow me to the sea and set a table for you and me
Listen to the roaring waves singing their own praise
take a walk with me along the shore
and observe what is transpiring behind the doors
Immerse yourself in nature
and if you are not comfortable,
just call the doctor.
soak yourself in the saltwater
and take me back to where it all begun.
Daybreak with earthly shadows coverings my face
And I knew that I had to confront reality that is staring at me
and everything that was coming out of the sea was a part of me
and in one split second I knew that it was done
for the truth in me is no fun.
Societies Haves, Have Nots
We all have something we hold close.
A memory, a fear, a dream we don't say
Tumultuous. A clearly audible and we all
have not adequate time to fix everything we
Wish we could. We have enjoyable days that
Lift us up. We have not the affirmation they'll
Linger.
But we keep shifting because pausing never
Anything preferable.
We have people who loves us, even if we
Not recollect to notice. We have not the
Faultless words to explain what hurts inside.
We have brawn we didn't know we had until
Life constrained us too far. We have not the
High living of choosing every confrontation we
Face.
We have hope, even when it's miniature.
We have not the map for what's in-store
But we walk regardless because that's what
Humans do.
