Premium Member My Dream Within a Dream

Dammit all, I need my laptop
before Beta hazes the flow
Goddam glasses, where are they

During the Second Layer
     A guy is fixing the bed
     But It still squeaks for some reason
     In adult dreams I needn’t
     Explain why the bed squeaks
     When I built the thing I installed
     Hook-eyes to keep you spread
     and use zip ties because
     the Asian way is to resist
     We two like it this way
     I don’t know why all this
     Is related. It all made
     sense a minute ago

During the First Layer
     That woman from your work
     was here with those Siamese eyes
     Headlights as hard as this bed
     She works her hips and heels
     And looks at me when you can’t see
     But now I’m awake enough
     To watch the handyman
     Trying to fix the squeak

Premium Member The Elementals

Personification of the Elements – 9-1-23
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Elementals
Frigid currents gather stirring
Mists to rain hail in fists of fire and ice
From fractured magma stone eruptions
Crust and fire collide
In melted tornados
In hollows where minerals hitchhike
Into purple ruby hazes
Igneous bursts into fevered conundrums
Where four elementals convene
In cryptic crystals, intoxicated by emerald,
Fused laughing enigmas,
Shedding molten aqua teardrops,
Where fire and fury reside
Imprisoned in liquid stone,
Sparkling matrix thunders,
Compressed grit in animations
Of clear-cut brilliance
The Elementals speak
In captured eternal flames,
Water, stone and breath.
Autumn By Straw Light
Between the reaching shades of tall trees
copper-leafed hillocks’ catch fire,
ghost flames
burnish the slow stealth of evening.
A translucent straw-light
seen only through the thumb hole
of a painter’s pallet,
or in that late sunlit wash, that blooms
so openly that eyes miss it.
Redolent are the long shadows
dipped as they are in rich earthy scents.
The flaxen hay is layered between
timbered silhouettes,
where gossamer ribbons of vapor
hazes-over honeyed acers.
Softly a lambent buoyancy of evening
blends amber and russet wisps
with hues of sorrel and orange.
A mellowing sky drapes over the fields
a chiffon fan of muted rays.
The tawny straws turn slowly,
all unclear to daylight eyes,
but by this eventide
we will view this ebbing day
through a golden glass.
Premium Member Sustaining Positive Mindset
If only your heart could hop, as a frog
to aim away from the tedium of the daily slog.
Allow love to be the genuine treasure.
Your selected spot atop the magic tether
Trying to outlive your expected lifespan
power with full belief, as an amphibian.
It linked choice and chance in dancing.
Alongside, a dreamy lake of romancing.
An ocean of words is now utterly dry.
Each phrase exists under the sky.
I have viewed them dying in my mind.
No path out or hope, I'm fearful of what to find.
Flow and feelings were obsolete.
You'll be dying laughing as you start retreat.
This is the writer's "block-mayday" warning,
when ideas become too thick for moaning.
The firm-moving hazes took a scenic route.
Amid the chaos, cinders crumble into the soot.
The spirit is gone round on by a whirl of time.
In quest of the North Star in the beauty prime.
never-ending race-attempting dashing.
to draw a fictional approach to finishing.
wiping your eyes and setting boldface on it.
Whatever transpires, foster hope and wit.
Premium Member Do Not Delay Your Hug
Morning aloneness.
Dawn imparts prized magic.
Next, the star blinks and vanishes.
The Moon and Sun share the same sky.
Autumn trees reveal their souls.
was interred under a leafy canopy.
Hazy memories of the past persist.
Striking was impossible, yet I bore it.
within a person’s heart.
The mind reflects a rocky promontory.
where spaces collided within the body,
Pulling their last breath, they expired
They acquire permission to fly.
The body, mind, and soul are all bound.
a while ago I grasped this.
The world has got its last odds of fading.
Pedestals are left above the hazes.
A cold bite encounters snow and frost.
Yet, I am jumping out of this plane.
for I, who soared to towering heights
Will I deliver you back to Earth?
Kisses melt snow and frost.
Lever your heart for love and empathy.
Premium Member French Troubadours Sing Their Praises
French troubadours sing their praises
melodic tune gently raises
mystical awareness of the throng
the king’s concubine finds voice in song
many a love match in throne room hazes
sensuality in these phrases
smoldering looks among youthful gazes,
lustful lunges do not seem wrong
French troubadours song
soulful feelings burn heart in blazes
twisted emotions lost in mazes
many young women shipped to Hong Kong
Not understanding quite what went wrong
barely a rumor banishment raises
French troubadours song
Exclusively dead,
Inclusively acculturated.
Expanded populations,
Deafeningly silent
        in
alcoholic hazes
and destructive rages.
Remote land summon an aloof tempest,
Bursting lights glint inquietude offshore,
Edged mists intimate like an apprentice,
Intrigue asserts the clouded to explore.
Inland heating like a warming welcome,
Landlubbers likely combative response,
Unveiled inherent instincts that seldom,
Aid dominions that are so nonchalance.
Newt eyes nictating atop curling waves,
A plucked forest acts as a casting wand,
Amplifying teens conjure inward braves,
Spirits arising maintaining the spawned.
Imaged enthralled hazes flit Noah's ark,
Sweeper-swept palls purify rainbow arc.
Premium Member The Smokies
blue misty hazes
rolling over pine-clad hills
Great Smoky Mountains,
Be sure to visit Cade’s Cove
Where bears wander in the wild.
Premium Member Escape From Purple
Purple facial bruises portrayed how her dreams died.
Purple hazes held all the tears she had initially cried.
Mute were the screaming broken layers she concealed.
Nightmare fears could end her if they were revealed.
Nowhere was anyone in whom she could safely confide.
Her story shared could drown another in terror's tide.
She deliberately avoided people, she made no friends,
never a conversation to lend or offered ear to bend.
She glimpsed an offer holding hope and it was do or die,
if caught she would know she fought with a plan to try.
Tonight, she would run with strangers who each knew
but a piece her escape route from purple’s purview.
those of us here don't want us to escape  : )
life is time
time is life
it is mine
like a wife
there is no contradiction
(that is not how) it seems
we live in an abstract
(multi-dimensional) the means
ah, the mazes
the phases
the faces
of time
when will it end
these crazes of mine
when
will it end
these hazes of line
i see,
said the ban-she,
you are of the hinge
...me!?...am of the cringe,
the lock and the key...so please
allow me to flee...not flea...
oh gawd...it's all up to me...
it's enough to make one screee
I Love You Again and Again
See how your face grins and makes the world better in lights.
Your smiles make the others's smiles smile.
Your tone is like the melodious songs of rain season's birds.
I used to feel so strut if I remember how I love you. You're my haze wiper, you wipe all the gloom hazes in my heart.
Your silence makes my heart disappointed and *** down my veins.
Fatimah Zarah, I repeat again and again, Fatimah Zarah.
My heart squeezes and ripples and even withers in lifely living.
I love you Fatimah, I love you again and again.
The Deep Breath
The beautiful page
The image
With the bunch of the books
Under the warm armpit
The molecules
Coming out through the nostrils
Into the air
What a charming delight
In the pores of the body
Where did the parks fly off
I look for the wind
That have perhaps blown them away
Beyond redemption
And those black board and chalks
The windows red and pink
The turquoise ink
The blinking blue hazes of time
A blurred paradigm
We build to break
No deep breath
Whispers the breeze through the chime
How
I was a broken down machine
Couldn’t even cleary think
Needed a man to tell me who to be
I was in one of my lowest phases
Falling in and out of drunken hazes
Desperately needed a savin’
How do you walk?
When your legs are bound down?
How do you breath?
When you’re afraid you’re gonna drown?
Ok baby, I need you now
And How did you walk?
Directly into my life?
And how can you stay?
Through all of this strife?
Oh baby, I was afraid
That you’d walk away
But you stayed
Down Comes the Rain
Think things through,
Meditate and contemplate too,
Walk through the falling rain,
Bring down the rain...
Let those sky tears wash away yours
And caress your face,
None will probably notice
In such cloudy surroundings;
Down comes the rain...
Chased the waters,
Taken by winds;
The currents glide along,
The rivers go on;
The mists explored,
The fog engulfed,
The clouds roared,
Lightning flashed,
The torrents flow through;
Down comes the rain...
Raindrops on our skins,
White whispers at our ears,
Shaded hazes silently passing by,
Dancing by torrential scapes,
Shouting by blue hushes;
Rushing waters falling by,
Body drenched,
Water clutches;
Looking up, eyes clenched or blurred,
Meditating, thinking, contemplating,
Reflexions of life;
Waters allured or quenched,
All left is an uprising...
Think things through,
Walk through the rainfalls,
Let such waters wash away your torrents,
Let them caress and grasp you;
None will probably notice,
In such stormy ambience;
Either stay, depart, drown, die,
Or act, proceed, swim, wonder and live...
Because down come the rains...
