Costly Pure Honey On Earth

Jesus Christ  is a blaisser
He  is a provider
Hosanna , Hallelujah!
Hallelujah , Ah - ah!
Amen

Jesus Christ  is the head of the church
He is pure honey that cost so much
Hosanna , Hallelujah!
Hallelujah , Ah - ah!
Amen

Premium MemberA Costly Mistake

Single mistakes can be costly,
Surely a statement made falsely
Will get you time in the slammer
And create lots of loud clamor,
So never enter a false plea.

Costly Stones

costly stones

the mountain partly hid the lake
was crystal clear and warm
they swam across to the river where its outlet was
we were looking for costly stones.
The lake got shallow, and they waded, but could
not find any pricey stones.
When they waded back, the lake had retracted back
into the mountain, it was now a cave.
They picked some stones and decided to return
next day.
When they did the lake was blood- red and saw
nothing of interest
They did not know why the pool
was red thought the reason was it had taken
colour from minerals in the mountain.
The place was ominous and silent in a fearful way.
His friend had turned into a shadow he no longer
looked like a human more like a hazy dream partly
remembered as the apparition, it had no face
he could have been anyone, even me.
Back at his hotel, he looked at the few stones from
the day before, they had no colour, he left them
on a shelf, and hoped someone would find
the beauty of the stone what he had missed.

Costly Health

In the media, we are told
that lots of us, have too much guts

What we’re eating, is not the best
and what we’re drinking, makes us a pest

Its healthy food, that’s priced to the hilt
chop down the price, so we don’t feel the guilt

A Costly Price To Pay

A Costly Price To Pay

Black, negative thoughts cloud your mind
Consuming your heart, weights of all kind
Lost within yourself, self sorrow combined
A costly price to pay, in your mind confined

Losing who you are, to appease the crowd
To be acceptable, to those whom are allowed
And the ones not worthy, perhaps disavowed
A costly price to pay, not to be able to stand proud

Your mind, your friend, your enemy at the same time
Lost within your internal prison, committing no crime
Longing for whatever you seemingly lack, so sublime
A costly price to pay, living within your lost paradigm

Cast off whatever it is that does not serve you well
Be it within your life, your mind, bid it a fond farewell
Seek out that place deep within your soul, help you excel
Such a costly price to pay, lost within your personal hell

Costly World

Take it all take it from me
All that this world should be
It isnt anywhere to be seen
Not even in my wildest dream
I have searched far and wide
To find a home on the other side
But this life has cost too much
The gates of heaven I'll never touch

Costly

COSTLY

binding and blinding
pale and fluorescent
under white silk
parted
her skin seethes
fleshy and full
incandescent
like mist off sea
sticky and costly

something out of nowhere
 taut blue skin of water
an absentee
lost but free

he is hypnotized
by perfection as
she rolls her soles
against a cold
unyielding wall
curved feminine
legs that beg
for instant
answers

something out of nowhere
 taut blue skin of water
an absentee
lost but free

Costly Gems Worn By Dead

costly gems worn by dead
monkey knows nothing of coconut
useless talking takes time
destinations are many of many
many men many theories
leads conclusion to null
real fruit is somewhere
tries to win only own game
debate of laughers in screen
smell drifts of manifested words
intelligent audiences test their innocence
they do not aware of them
smile folks walk in the sky

A Costly Ring

On a night such as this
A besom seated, flighted Witch
The Maple near an Oak is blowing;
An emboldened Toad on root is croaking.

Halfway down the hillside lawn
The dusk enlightened flowers sulking
As breezes toss the moths about them
Close a Ring that slipped to soil.

A couple sits within this distance
Immune to superstitious nonsense;
Without a costly Ring he'd given,
He'll work just as hard to earn some other!
She sobs unhappy and the day is faded.

Costly Reprieve

Costly Reprieve
by Jason Williams

A hypnotic ritual
Holding utensil to flame
It hurts to see the bubbling
But I’ve no one else to blame

I do not care for anyone
I only care for me
About the next fix to get
That's all that I can see

Cotton brushes against skin
The tourniquet stretches tight
My despair will soon be over
I’ll have peace all through the night

An artificial cure I know
Needle piercing flesh and vein
Get me through the night I pray
I have to end the pain

Escape despair is what I seek
By any means that I can find
Even if it's just for hours,
I leave despair behind

When I wake I will be sick
I’ll be broke, I cannot win
I’ll find a way to make it
Then I’ll do it all again.

Is this the life I wish to lead?
Will I ever again be me?
Is there a life beyond repair?
Will I ever again be free?

Costly Tale- Make a Poem Contest

was a garden unloved not many flowers
memories run deep and were buried there
here children used to play in summer showers
a cat stalked looking absurd with an irritable stare

we caught this moggie stalking a tiny mouse
was hiding away in the iris bed
not caring one iota that a cat was about
he laid down to snooze resting his head

suddenly he heard the thunder of paws
jumped up with a start through a window ran
landed on the gas meter which was old beyond years
broke off the pipe, was a big bang

an engineer was called a man heard the blast
an evil smell emits the air
was a genial man with a happy smile
costly job this, to make a repair.

the mouse was stunned and lying there
gave his chest a rub a generous thought
i appreciate that the little mouse said
excellent said the repairman as a remedy he sought

remember all no matter large or small
look where you land when you take a fall

took me forever to write this

Costly Love

If every black sheep of the family
Became a billionaire
Then maybe others of that family
Would want then more to share.

It is so then they’ll testify,
“By God, we have not been unfair!”
If so by God then answer please,
“What did it cost to care?”

Premium MemberA Costly Toll

Should I thank lightning for its fire,
or praise the wind when it's blowing?
For without fire, we'd all expire,
and the wind keeps the air flowing.

Fire demolishes all with ease
and when winds wail, ships oft get tossed.
And nothing can ever appease
the grief felt for a loved one lost.

Should I worship the sun and rain,
are they not worthy of my praise?
Showers bring waters that sustain
us and the sun warms with its rays.

Downpours swell rivers and souls drown,
while deserts bake under the sun.
And floods send houses crashing down,
while droughts kill more than any gun.

In times of war and upheaval,
does God decree the fate of Man?
Should I not blame Him for evil,
isn't it all part of His plan?

Yin-yang, good-bad, is known to all,
stitched in the fabric of our soul.
But when religion makes the call,
faith can levy a costly toll.
