Colony Poems - Poems about Colony

Premium MemberColony Of Dreams

Submerged in the flood of the maddening crowd,
I see a verdant valley carved out by covert ingenuity
within my lonesome mind, drifting away entranced,
displaced from the still stratum of suffusing sound
of converging cacophony, resonating loud in quiet thoughts,
as dreams cluster within the unanchored mind.

In the colony

buttressed by food fortress

The Creator cares
even for ant colonies...
let's trust* God always.

COLONY OPERATING MECHANISM

Colony operating mechanism
Christianity played bad role in Africa
As most European pastors and priests
were investigators and informers of the regime.
as some believers were made spies
by some churches leaders.
some people who went
 to repent their sins
To majority ministers
were astonished to see the police officers
on their doors after repentance.
Yoh!
majority ministers were
working for

Acquaintance and Neighbourhood

Sadly , my acquaintance  of IsiZulu and other local  languages was so badly.
hardly to speak to acquaintance neighbors in the erea
as majority of them were sadly.

Neighbourhood had an acquaintance woman
superstar of Hollywood,
African woman who spoke American English
fluently like an African - Americans.

Hollywood superstar once carried firewood,
Woodland is the name

Common Sense Nonsense Part 2-06022022

I
Some joke about the Lord's prayer taught to disciples in Matthew 6: 9-13 -

"GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD"- We trust God for heaven, but daily bread is my work and duty.

Jesus wanted us to take EVERY CONCERN, WORRY, QUARREL to God or the Trinity. He could have taught His disciples to pray for

Premium MemberPlymouth Colony - Thanksgiving

A year has passed. The dark clouds still loom.
From the sea voyage, harsh winter, disease, and doom.
The Mayflower set sail 102 Pilgrims aboard,
55 have went on to be with the Lord.

God has heard the Saints and their cry,
Not wanting them to suffer any more and die.
 God will provide a

Morning Spells of a Worker Bee

Around three AM, he is awake
Uphill, upon a solitaire game
Loving the heat of his sweat
The distance whispers of his honey queen
The nearness of the morning howls
The mistakes and lazy gaze at the paining finger
The smiling mirror in his fuming eyes
The smiling lips in his coupled mirrors
The worker bee is dividing his blood
One for his sweat

The Ballad of Agnes Bean

From ‘The Woe of Roanoke ‘
It wasn’t just the gale that chilled his skin
As he mulled on the cannibal captured within.
In trembling state he clenched close his cane
To rap tap the gate of the jail in the rain.

Four jailer badge enter, unbolted the door
Jabbed, jolted the ragged convict in the floor.
He shook himself down to

Colony After Colonisation

Why are the owls flying in the day
The frogs jumping and cracking
Around in day light
Why are the bats leaking the ripe
Fruits in the day
The birds flying around with keen
Attention like termites on an ant hill
The elephants from across the seas are
No longer in our farms neither are
They still felling down our trees
Here and Lo nothing

Premium MemberWorking Ants and Circumstance

An ant was digging in the dirt, he worked and toiled so long.
He looked upon the work he’d done and decided it was wrong.

He’d only made a little dent in a job that was too big,
so he decided to find some friends to help him with the dig.

He gathered up a couple mates and showed

Cattle Colony

we've counted all the cattles
those going to South and West
those to the East and Middlebelt
our ancestral souls still beat
patriotically among the wind.
they have built a nervous town
full of smiling land scape of
grasses and water and blood
I think our herdsmen will wear
a political shoes and clothes now
and stop killing heads for 2019!

Yours Poetically,
©John
