Author’s Note:
This sonnet is the sequel to "Ere She Trembled", as directed by the most esteemed Lustrous Lin; henceforth ventured by a poor votary of the Muse, who dared but follow the path her imagination had first ordained.
—The Jewel of the Crown—
When midnight loosed silver from her hair,
I stole where nectar’d dreams veiled all her breath;
She turn’d, and drew me through the perfumed air,
Till warmth made pale the hoary frost of death.
Her throat, where alabaster bloom’d, was warm;
Beneath my hand, her pulse began to sing;
She met mine eyes, and hush’d the gathering storm,
Whilst moonlight trembled on each secret thing.
Then breath to breath, where waking woo’d the dream,
Our silence melted, honey-sweet and deep;
The stars grew languid in their argent gleam,
And night forgot her ancient right to sleep.
Thou art the jewel sleeping in my crown;
I’d lose the world before I laid thee down.
Again sudden movement
My thoughts they now cease
That feeling of unsetalment
Oh how l long for a release
As their is no real improvment
Should l or not call the police
I am never one for an argument
But tensions starting to increase
What is their tenancy agreement
I am hpoing it is shorthold lease
How anyone can be so ignorant
Is thier not a thing called breach
Of the peace

You reach an age where your mind loves scanning back.
Over your history - the days of youth, joy, rage and all the panic attacks!
Sometimes so vivid the memory you feel you could touch it by reach. Sometimes so dark the memory the wall needs regular maintenance to avert the breach.
Retired as age ticks on and on and you feel your mind is given permission once again to be free. You realise that some dreams of youth were simply never meant to be. But take solace from within the warmth you have now. You understand this life and you survived somehow.
A weapon of hope, she
stands in the breach,
firing her deadly
cannons of calamity
toward the darkness.
Screams pierce the
inky void, rising to
crescendos before
subsiding to whimpers
and finally, silence.
Still the weapon of hope,
she rises, once again
firing her deadly cannons
while behind her they live
free while she stands.

Its breach cannot provoke an avalanche.
Sturdy and tight, their friendship stands.

I know that this was an adventure and a half,
But sometimes I just wanna sit back and laugh.
You went way out on a limb and you took a shot,
But every day I see you give it all you've got.
Taking a chance like this was a lotta bit bold,
But with a great staff like yours, you've got me sold.
So, here's to you and Sandra for taking a chance
And sailing ahead without a second glance.
Your ship will keep moving with the wind in your sails.
With you at the helm, there's no way you'll fail.
The breach of the men and the boys.
The ladies despair of such joys.
What flies off their tongue.
The phlegm, it is flung.
Both spit with an “ach” sort of noise.

Face of the Flatirons mountain range
Awakens
To the pre-dawn of the Colorado sun
A charcoal sketch
Scribbled to life from a meadow of pale paper
I wade waist-high in the waving grasslands
A whale watcher
There! There!
Gray humpbacks
Arched and
Breaking the blue surf of clouds and sky
The breach
A union of silence
Between Soul and God
I on the outside
The universe within
I was the mystery
Riding the mountain.
Letting go not holding on,
the closing act of life
To make the crossing burden free,
past vestiges of strife
Letting go not holding on,
from years that pile high
The greatest weight the last to leave
that final one—goodbye

We seem separate, sadly so
Culture's children of East and West
A horrid hole lurks humankind
Traipse through time to stand up straight
History's tears tell the true tale
Finding freedom from irksome isms
Inner inklings shine to the stars
Will wise hearts always pay the price
Wrought with woe, wars waged unwon
Face race, our original sin
Seeking healthcare for everyone
Reset concepts for world order
Find ways to treat our foes as friends
Cross grand gorges, greet the other
