The Lancaster Bomber

I look through the front window
Of the Lancaster bomber on show
Bill my co-pilot is by my side
It has been such a ride

We are waiting on the line
To fly to Berlin in the night time
Carpet bombing is the name of the game
We are making history and fame

The lights flick and turn on
A group of students has just gone
The display is the best on show
And the bomber is haunted you know.

On Second Thoughts

And shall this piece of twisted wire
bring me all I could desire,
and will this ugly-looking button
that tears my flesh to shredded mutton,
grant me up there a first-row seat
where heavenly angels come to meet?
Can Heaven in mercy ever cover
my slaying children with their mother?
What of those maids in Paradise?
I yearn for them, but what's the price?
Lo, I behold a pale white dove.
Is this a sign from Heaven above?
No more to see the golden sun,
the silver moon when day is done?
Renounce the joys of married bliss
for an airy-fairy virgin's kiss?
Should I God's earthy gifts despise.?
There's time anon to Heavenwards rise.

Premium Member My Dad

He wore a leather bomber jacket and a redskin hat and would engage with people where ever he was at. He wore two hearing aids that often whistled like a kettle and as he aged out in our three homes he did settle. A world war II vet he served in the navy and once out he married and they had three babies. Dad had been a lawyer and eventually became a judge. He was not a snooty person and seldom held a grudge. Dad was always most particular about where he chose to eat, only frequenting four star restaurants with the more elite.
At church his voice would bellow as he sang out every hymn. Most days he'd burst into a song if he felt the whim. Dad had an Irish temper but wasn't easily provoked, in order to get it simmering it had to be stoked.
Even in his older years he was still a flirt and would turn his attention to a pretty face or leggy skirt. Dad had a strong work ethic and worked til age 75 and would probably still be working now if he was alive.
At age 81 as he lay counting sheep, my dad gently slipped away, dying peacefully in his sleep. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THOSE GREAT FATHERS OUT THERE

Ashira S Lullaby

God, protect your children
Keep them safe from harm
God, take your children
Welcome them into your arms

I am a child of betrayal
My innocence is their derail
God, can you hear me over the bombs?
Or are my sins not quiet enough?
If you can see me in the darkness
I ask you for your forgiveness
My time will end but I’m not alone
Please protect the other children of betrayal

Young girl.
Full bus.
One explosion.

Somewhere,
children are singing.

God, protect your children
Keep them safe from harm
God, take your children
Welcome them into your arms

We are children of betrayal
Our innocence is their derail
A life not chosen, but here we are
To fight a war we know not for
God, if you’re out there, hear our cries!
Save your children from our conflicted minds
Beaten and poisoned but we prevail
Forgiveness we ask for the children of betrayal

Bits of Bone

Premium Member Manchester Suicide Bomber Gets More Attention Than Mahatma Gandhi

One week ago, a suicide bomber, a murderer took many lives at the Manchester Arena
The police are hunting down his accomplices to subpoena
It seems that the papers have nothing better to do than to show his face to us every day
Replaying each and every horrific moment to his families and relatives: including his unfallen, his prey
Go on let’s make him famous, some journalists seem to say
These are the images that imprint themselves in the minds of relatives and friends
What kind of a message does this ultimately send?
This story really sucks
News makes big bucks
Who is going undercover to catch these monsters that lurk?
Has the world gone completely berserk?
When it came to the crunch, they caught the evil leaders not so long ago
They knew where and how to overthrow
Those in power know how to catch these wicked murderers if they really want to
Instead, they sit back and hold up their hands up in horror as if to say how can this be true
The reality is who is selling weapons to the enemy
Their identities will surely put them in jeopardy
So until someone commands the word “GO”!
This remains to be one big psycho show!

Salman Abedi
every member of your family support unit
They should be deported and expelled
The mosque in where he learned his satanic verses
rightly it should be bulldozed to the ground only fair
as our Heavenly Father punished Cain who still burns with anger
A temple of Satan condemning others to death
as it breaks His Holy words and law
suicide is an ungodly ritual
Laid down on stone cold thou shalt not kill
God wills it so non believers of His word
Justice supreme unholy is the act carried out
pure evil demonic is the taking of innocent life
hell holds the fury of those hounds scorned
to hate peace forever more snakes of the dark side
consumed with fire

Said the New Jersey Bomber a Terrorist

Said the terrorist,
Terrorized and
radicalized by what the mind dictates.
Spreads it’s evil into the eyes,
stares into arrogance
justifies presumptuous actions
and forces you to comply.

Did I not think?
Once done,
irreversible these actions?
But no,
this rude bravado
assumes it carries the weight of God.
Who am I to dictate such ignorance?
They do on to me and so I do unto them?
Revenge?
For whom?
Did God ask you to take revenge?
No that is of your choice.
I chose my actions.
The devil speaks into both ears,
into your eyes,
into your visions,
into your hands,
into everything you do.
You become the devil’s advisory,
a chilling killer.
Think again!
God is not on your side!

Why do we do what we do?
our infectious mind
spreads through the eyes,
motivate our visions
till we comply.

The Bomber

The Bomber knifes right through your guard
You duck and weave, a bobbing loon
Contentious crashing, bodies scarred
His lightning fists cradle your doom

Twelve timeless rounds against the champ
His blinding hook you never saw
The mildewed taste of canvas damp
Burnt failure sticking in your craw

Faint echoed cheers resounding deep
Thick sweat and blood now sting your eyes
Concealing bitter tears you weep
To throw the towel in or rise

Surrender is the only shame
You stand and square with woozy smile
There’s naught to lose now in life’s game
Better the taste of blood than bile

The Bomber

A policeman speaking to another officer
After a large explosion in the city

1st Cop: Do you think it was a bomber?
2nd Cop: Why would Obama have done it?

1st Cop: I’m not sure who, but I think it must have been a bomber?
2nd Cop: Well, if you’re not sure, then why do you think it was Obama?

1st Cop: How can you be so sure it wasn’t a bomber?
2nd Cop: Because he’s in Washington!

1st Cop: Right now??
2nd Cop: Of course!

1st Cop: Then you know him?
2nd Cop: Not personally

1st Cop: I’m confused
2nd Cop: I’ll say

1st Cop: So why don’t you think it was a bomber?
2nd Cop: Because I just saw him on TV

1st Cop: What the hell are you talking about?
2nd Cop: Obama!

Discovered a new computer term, “Hover To Play!”
Applied to the bedroom, hmm, interesting I'd say
Let your mind take flight
Tell me, “how was your night?”
Bet you learned lotsa new stuff as you dive bombed per se

Wrong place wrong time
big crowd in the market square
demonstrators milling
heavy atmosphere
tourists exit coach
I kind of see a flash
feel a thud
am covered in
the blood of a child
suicide bomber
mixed with flesh and blood
of fifty others
as I stumble to my feet
and much later
I wonder what must the
suicide bomber feel
when they detonate
the explosion tears
them apart so fast
yet in that instant
when your body mass explodes
you must feel just
some of that
utter violence.
