Andrea, It does not have to specifically be about the rose, it is about feelings and what emotions are represented in your mind. Look at my example in the contest specification area. My example: Renewed Slowly the light stimulates, arousal evident, awakened, renewed, welcome the new day. I never mention the rose only what the picture instills in me. Mac

Mac,I was all set to go(with a descriptive poem on any theme) until I came here just now and saw that we had to write about the rose. Um , hmmmm, Maybe I can't do it after all. If I knew i had a few days I could try, but anyway, I have no fear that your contest will fill up fast, Mac! and maybe I will get lucky and think of something to say. luv, andrea

Joe, Use the picture to write anything you want about how you feel about the picture. Theme and form are up to you. Thanks, Mac

I am a little confused - not that that is a difficult thing to do. Are we supposed to write the poem about the picture you have posted? Or, any poem, any theme? Thanks for explaining. Joe

20 lines....I'm whining....and to a picture???? How is that made easy? A Rose? geeeeze....why not a horse on velvet or an owl ...(duck)..hey I get alot of whining and never get to do any....;)..Phew I feel better now

Nawwwwwwww easy to judge if you don't have asoft spot....let everyone go who doesn't spell check (wince) I contact them and say...line 2...word 3 is mispelled..tons more work LOL............good luck!
