Lifeless

The dusk casts its shadow upon the land robbing the light, setting the stage for caliginosity . Moonlight faint against transitioning light stretches eerie fingers onto a land that allows no man. Twisted steel, mimicking an uncanny monster, stationary, only its shadow moves with moon passing. Silence, cold and unrelenting as death is undisturbed by gentle breeze, yet, faintly, a rustle interrupts calling attention be paid, will be ignored forever more. Huge sockets once capable of sight blindly bear witness, a planet once beautiful and bright, races through the universe devoid of life.
