For One Day
If I had only one day left with you,
I would ask that day be in God's own time,
one day, a lifetime, every moment
an expression of love,
every hour a new adventure.
twenty four hours to slowly pass
with you at my side,
a never-ending dream,
always giving thanks,
one day left with you,
would be eternity.
