Purples, Whites and Pinks

purples, whites and pinks
peeking from my fruit trees’ leaves. . . .
blue bird's sudden trill

You have enveloped the entire concept of spring in three short lines. Spring is that time of regeneration and a reminder of the resilience of nauture to prevail. I don't believe we could define it better, any other way, than you have poetically. Mac

Very nicely written, Andrea! Need to cheer me up a bit as a cold made me feel sick. So you're half Welsh-I like that. A shame that I have never been to Wales, but have lived in Edinburgh (Scotland) for two years in the early 1980ies. I liked Scotland very much and the people. I did a postgraduate study at Edinburgh University at that time... All the best...Gert
