Premium MemberA Crescent Moon Bloom

If I could fetch you the moon on a spoon
I’d give you galaxies in a coffee cup
And sing softly to make you swoon
Then add the Milky Way as creamer
Stir the moon on the spoon
Sweetened by your lips and
The heart of a dreamer
Taking satiny sips you’d be refreshed
Find yourself in the family way
As celestial seed grows beneath
Your breast making you starry eyes
My favorite work of art
For you grow like the moon
A crescent that blooms
With child dancing on ribs
Doing all the fetal flips
Birthing my red heart
Universal love child so dark
Ebony eyes onyx skin
Chiseled dimples on cheeks on chin
A star child destined to win

Premium MemberMushroom God

Millions are bowing to a mushroom God
who guides them down paths of pyrite and blackness
Minds falsely expanding into an unexplainable universe
with things mechanically terrifying and satiny glorious.
Sprouting waxy wings, soaring into new unrealities
searching-always searching for that elusive something.
With the infinite textures of war and flavors of human suffering...
who can blame them for at least trying.

I fear for my friend and his diamond mind
he's cracked the shadow of this mushroom God
I fear that after his great mind expansion
there will come a greater mind contraction.
His softening mind slipping into a jagged rabbit hole.

Meanwhile a million holy books are garnished with
coffee ring halos and the stench of miracles ignored.

Premium MemberI couldn't talk about it, so I wrote a poem

No Rush

Hair brush through my hair, no rush.
The wrinkles will not slow, but time
slows on the satiny pillow, in throes.
The bed softly creaks as our eyes speak.
They do not stare as the fire sparks.
Familiar lips brush tender flesh, kindling
the oneness, the forever afterness.
The rush of internal flames combust
followed by serenity of tousled hair.
No rush to run bristles through my locks.

Premium MemberYour Touch

Satiny softness surrounds me as your touch
ensnares me in ardent, consuming passion
for which there is no exultation too much.
I desire no respite, escape, dispassion
as I am your unrelenting paramour
offering a safe harbor for you to moor.
Stay with me upon this sea of ecstasy
and we shall conceive our lasting legacy.

Premium MemberA COLD WINTERs STEAMY

The staticky-stars climax under intense blanket of Winter glow.
Your spouse can’t see your spirited green eyes that burn slow.

The friction of campfire sticks, the satiny slipperiness of moon.
Flames of blue, orange and red won’t be overcome too soon.

Pert rose petals, that once were goosebumpy and ice cold,
scintillate like fireworks until the grand finale’s loosed, uncontrolled.

Warm breath in a cold Winter’s steamy and a restless beast.
Lips lavish over late night feast, matches singe, sate increased.

Squirming under the leisurely complement of coals, coalescing,
Coolness of a blue lake vaingloriously countering, distressing.

A long midnight’s thrashing, sans pillory; the high beams foray.
Pillow talk, a sensuous squeeze, a high-diving elixir bouquet.

Ah those stars brilliantly glowing on a long Winter’s night!
Those limbs blush, rose petals crush, with unfettered light.

Nemesis

Pining
for sun set's break
under starlight morai—
absent satiny day, but with
full nights

Premium MemberIllusory Vision

In an illusory vision, I perceive the moon
High aloft the world in midnight's pitch,
polished to a satiny sheen; burnished pearl,
a solitaire gem mounted in celestial skies
surrounded by multi-faceted diamonds,
myriads of gleaming stars before my eyes.

Premium MemberGown

My mother’s wedding gown
in my closet, whispers a tale
of love and togetherness!

the gold embroidery
all over, done intricately,
dazzles like a star-studded sky,

picturing the glitter and pomp…
telling me story of that special occasion!

I caress the gown with tender hands,
It hums a song which my mother chose
for her wedding day!

The lustrous silk rustles,
The lace murmurs softly to my touch..
I close my eyes, to listen to the
melody that silky, satiny, subtle-hued dress sing -

a song which crooned in the heart of a
                ravishing bride !

Premium MemberThey and Dark Night

The night, drunk with empty doubt
Fearful of invisible ghost, without
Touch of serenity that heals,
They who watched, waited for the clearing;

Wrestled with crude prejudice -
This demonic force entering in,
This full measure of sin, of
Outcast needing cure;

Day dawns anew, and
Like sounds echoing from stringed music
The simmering of dark night
The light of day that wakens the dead
The night becomes canopy of stars,
Guiding lost ships in summer breeze of faith, and
Satiny loveliness we love; one with the night.

Premium MemberRed Robin Serenade

Red robin has long been singing, amidst a forest green spring,
In the burnt apricot days of sun, of teal skies fresh and clear,
Warbling to a blooming world unseen, hues coming and going.
Then red butterflies appear, like pale moon in plum mists sheer.

In the burnt apricot days of sun, of teal skies fresh and clear,
Satiny voiced red robin sings, while grazing the cream clouds.
Then red butterflies appear, like pale moon in plum mists sheer;
And all of nature's lovely crowds, are wrapt in dusky shrouds.

Satiny voiced red robin sings, while grazing the cream clouds,
Then in flaming, wild rosebush, in the heart of spring so pure;
And all of nature's lovely crowds, are wrapt in dusky shrouds,
While one thing remains sure-its pretty song will ever endure!

Then in flaming, wild rosebush, in the heart of spring, so pure,
Warbling to a blooming world unseen, hues coming and going.
While one thing remains sure-its pretty song will ever endure,
Red robin has long been singing, amidst a forest green spring.

Premium MemberLucinda Is Ready To Party

Lucinda dressed up in her fanciest bluest most satiny dress.
It had flounces and ruffles, creases that gave her a caress.
She was in her party finery, sitting still, waiting for her guest.
Her collie, Labrador and Scotty dog gave barking a small rest.

They will be here any second, she assured her puppy friends.
The doggy brigade sat patiently, doing cartwheels and knee bends.
Lucinda was disappointed, for no humans appeared that day.
Each had an excuse about why they had to go away.

It’s those dogs, her mother said. No one wants to be around them.
Lucinda did not understand this, so she spoke to cousin Clem.
Your pups don’t like us, he told her. They only like one person – you.
No one wants to eat with dogs, it makes us nervous, Lu.

Premium MemberA Blanket of Diamonds

Golden stars tell the story, of still, night's glory,
Twinkling and flashing, in the hours of dreams,
Long after the dazzling sunset, a black cherry,
Full moon's lovely as it's pouring, satiny cream.

Twinkling and flashing, in the hours of dreams,
And filling the night with a kind of black magic,
Full moon's lovely as it's pouring, satiny cream.
The smooth lakes and soft moon flowers gleam.

And filling the night with a kind of black magic,
Lavishing peace underneath a celestial shroud,
The smooth lakes and soft moon flowers gleam,
As a whispering wind blows, and birds sing loud.

Lavishing peace underneath a celestial shroud,
Long after the dazzling sunset, a black cherry-
As a whispering wind blows, and birds sing loud,
Golden stars tell the story, of still, night's glory!

surrounded by satiny yellow roses
She drops to the floor
playing with her lace up shoes
our princess, our baby, our ballerina
the one who danced her heart out today

Premium MemberLet Us Waltz

Snow kissed breath, whispers
A caress…
	Into my thoughts,
Forever, always – a melody
Glowing silent and sweet, tenderly
Gentling my heart, my dreams
With warm hopes in hues of satiny
Peace, serenity…

You are the light, soft and bright
Silencing my fears, wiping away
Every tear…
	With sincere kindness,
Wonders abiding inside those who know
There is a love far wiser than any brain
Far more alive than any hope,
This is love that comes to those…
	Who show their feelings, believe
In the miracles that come with faith

You are the wiser, the sage…
Astute and clever, more knowledgeable
Than any other spirit, any promise,
You know what it is to give, give generously…
	With a selfless smile,
More innocent than that of a child,
More serious than the wisest of the wise

You are the one, my gentle friend
Who smiles love through my life,
Frees my heart to delight in the sun,
To find the joy in every storm,
The music in every heart, the dance….
That comes to those who know…
Love is at the heart of every waltz!

Premium MemberSaffrony Summer

Sunflower sunset.
The flight of indigo birds,
midst pink, blue and gold.
Saffrony summer again,
spreads beauty from sea to sea.

Sparkle, shimmer, shine,
all moonlit, starry nighttime,
when scents are dreamy.
Summer of satiny bliss,
and nights among cool roses.
