My unrequited

In the shadows of the night, I dare to dream,
to be your number one, Your love supreme.
However our reality is a different tale,
You hate me, and I’m left with a heart pierced with a nail

In your eyes, I’m just a name,
a person you want to burn in flames.
I’m the ghost that haunts ur space,
the one you wish you could erase.

In the shadows, I’ll forever stay,
loving you silently, day by day.
My heart beats for you, my soul feels the pain,
of loving someone who will never love me the same.

You’re the sun, I’m the moon,
two celestial bodies, forever out of tune.
But still I dream of you, of what could never be,
a love that’s doomed from the start, yet still it’s all I see.

I wish to be ur number one, ur guiding light
but you hate me and I’m left in endless night.
I’ll hold on to the hope, that one day you’ll see,
the love I have for u, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll love me.

Premium Member A Dedication to my Godson Carleton Halstead

A DEDICATION TO MY GODSON CARLETON
What can I say, when I received news that you
had gone to be with our Lord.
I called you, but you didn’t respond.
I asked our Lord many times to make a change
in your life, but I didn’t expect this.
My only hope was that I was a good influence
in your life, and that you felt you could depend on me.
I hate to see you go this way, but it seems
to have been the only
choice, if you can call it a choice.
I will miss you terribly.
So long, my dear Carleton.
I will always love you.

Premium Member I Wanna Love You

No more pretending
try understanding
what you mean to me
Nobody else knocking
nothing needs unlocking
you are my need
Got nothing but time
you got me in a bind
love me
Listen to your heart
don't break us apart
look and see
We are meant for each other
we're to damage for another
trust me
Hold me please
and love me
I wanna
I wanna
love you (my baby)
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna. I wanna love you (my baby)
What's on your mind
risking borrow time
don't leave
We are one another
it is us no others
believe
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna, I wanna love you (my baby)
I wanna
I wanna
love you...

Premium Member Reflexion in Alcyon

life that knows death
and nevertheless continues
      God is gracious
Grace granted after trial, mercy,
   stronger than judgment
divine help that was not earned but
                                       given

Ivo is the one preserved through death by grace

The evergreen life that survives the underworld because God has remembered it.

Roses and Love Riots

"I filled the night's chalice with knots of desire..."
For you have set my untarnished heart on fire

"I learned how to live unkissed, until" we met
Now, we dance all night long, a romance duet

"The moon is an honest Manipulator"
Gives us away with its light, like a traitor

"It's raining roses and love riots" tonight
Together, we make an enviable sight

I'm the passionate pulse that beats in your veins
Wholly yours to explore, 'coz you hold my reins

The midnight stars groove to the rhythm of our souls
We are in a place where amour, us controls

Let's share our ardency with milky moonbeams
And with the sleeping world, our soft stardust dreams

Hands joined, lives intertwined, we will never part
For you and I, we live in each other's hearts...

I miss you
I MISS YOU (how to let go?)

Why can't I be with you?
Every day like the sunshine.
They say time heals all wounds,
But my Heart is
                          for all eternity to yours
                                                          Bound.
I have to comprehend,
I can't see you..

It sounds like a joke,
But to miss you this much,
It really breaks my heart!

For Pierre.

Premium Member Dear Poetry

O, dear poetry, how old are you?
give me a glimpse, The Story of Sinuhe
the art just might predate literacy,
before the birth of the written word, BCE
Tale of the Shipwrecked Sailor the eldest fictious
the Epic of Gilgamesh on papyrus
the world’s oldest love poems, verselets
Homer’s ancient epics

Compositions made for spoken word
I finally found out from all I’ve heard
what my dear poetry means to me
the love of artistic lyrical spontaneity
learning of words using them expressively
or impressively, excessively, whatever it takes
with poetic license, there are no mistakes

Works that lead to electric elucidation
with rhythmic flow, meter and alliteration
my primo priority is; my poem pieces make sense,
with rhyme and my love for classic cadence
having the quality of amatory ambiguity,
steered adrift with ominous obscurity
strapping images of suggestive metaphors
I’ll write to inspire as do the troubadours…..

Periwinkle Veins

I can see crimson love stains
On my periwinkle veins,
Who is it that kissed me red?
Waiting till I slowly bled...
amour in hues of amber
This Autumn of September
Golden face and glowing heart
In me, he's passion's pure art
Unimagined devotion
Causing caustic commotion
'tis love that has brought us close
He's mine, I'm the one he chose
Entwined to one another
We shall grow old together.

Purple Green

I loved my make up today
My yellow concealer blended mighty well
At least it didn't turn out gray
Don't forget to draw water from the well

I kissed his fist so hard today
I smiled as I touched my bleeding lip
I admired the color in the mirror
I begged the heavens for this day
His artwork has no error
At least he touched me
 ME
I won't forget to draw water from the well

The green and purple looked good today
I'm thinking of having the pattern tatted
Stencil huh
My mother chased me away
I don't think she liked the tattoo idea
As long as I remain the perfect canvas
I will draw water from the well

As if it never left

As if it never left

And though your love has departed
and drifts further away with the passing years,
in dreams it remains ever close to you—
as if it were never absent.
In dreams, the past returns;
within the embrace of absence,
the heartbeat echoes more powerfully—
love’s most beautiful resonance,
as if it never fell silent.
And if your love should one day return,
changed by the years spent apart,
never speak to it of your dream—
as if it never left.

A Lone Red Rose

I brought a lone red rose for you today.
I thought not to bring a glass and water.
We do not have much time here anyway.
I guessed it would be wise not to bother.

You would not want to pack a dozen more.
It would be a waste to leave them behind.
A bundle is often is hard to adore.
A rose by herself will forever shine.

I set the rose on the empty table
To lay alone with a simple grace.
It is the only way I am capable
Of giving your heart the proper embrace.

I brought a rose to celebrate your birthday.
As the years pass, I come to love you so.
The rose is a gift in my humblest way,
To return the love you have always shown.

Every Moment of My Life

I have come to realize that every moment of my life
Has been solely about meeting and falling in love with you.
That has been my life’s purpose and I didn’t know it til now.

Premium Member Come Home To Me

When I awoke this morning
My love you weren't here
I doubt you ever do return
That is what I truly fear

If only you'd come home to me
I'd hold you dearly in My embrace
Kiss you softly on your forehead
And wipe the tears from your face

I've already forgiven you for leaving
I hope that you can forgive me
I pushed you away with my temper
This is my fault anyone can see

But I realized your love is better
Then getting loud to have control
There will be no more outburst
Think of all the happiness they stole

The air in my lungs is less important
Then you being here in my life
I'm sorry for every tear you cried
I'll be a better husband for you my wife

Battattawatta

Looping hieroglyphic attire that dressed the miserly in cloaks of fired up brimming pride so catcher does this seeth beneath the sky, sky blue or frilled for venom, which enraptured the hornet as the serpent spent bills oh? Enough of the price? Is the motherly kind word not my own spoken twice?
