Premium Member Like Night Missing Day

By Phan Tan Hai

Waiting for you, my eyes on mist and smoke—
once I stood beneath the eaves;
even the late-night lampposts asked
whether I had fallen in love with you.

One morning, one evening of longing,
ten days, a hundred moments, a thousand nights;
a bird crying in the wind-swept sky
carrying again my words: I love you.

There was a time I sat like a stone statue,
hair and beard growing into a forest;
did you see me in the leaves—
missing you like night misses day.

Meeting again, tears filled that time;
why ask about the white clouds of home;
weary from wandering through the years,
I guided you across the long miles.

Loving each other through a time of breaking,
why remember the spring rains and sun;
my verses tangled with memory,
loving you through every cold season of distance.

New Morning Delight

it has been a long time since i made you breakfast
we forgot to remember to remember what should never forget
it is quite pitiful it took me almost losing you to realize what has been lost
i even remembered the salsa for your cheesy scrambled eggs
i am just now noticing that have have become even more beautiful with age
the maturation of your appearance the the spiked cinnamon tea of my day
when i kiss you good morning, it turns into a powerful ****** on my tongue
sometimes life is a wonderful thing flipped and in reverse
i never anticipated us missing each other so
now i want a pina colada understanding finally what rupert holmes was putting down
the rain has perfect timing and so does the perfectly strategized warmth of your mouth
i can definitely finished making breakfast later
with what you are doing to me now, i will be your servant, your chauffeur, and your waiter
tomorrow we ascend in the much needed renovated, updated, and upgraded changes
the view is perfect, and Blessing of Loving You and Being Loved By You is Improvingly Assured

I Love You

I sit and I listen, to the wind whistle by.
Looking at the light, from the moon in the sky.

I hear the crickets calling, to the stares in the heavens above.
One look into your eyes, I know I am in love.

I kiss you very gently, and hold you in my arms.
Vibrant is your beauty; I love you and your charms.

I walk across the world, with you near my heart.
Even wild horses, could not tear our love apart.

In the morning’s light, we walk along the bay.
You feel the waves lapping, and see the waters spray.

I hold your hand gently, and pull you close to me.
Our love it is growing, for all that dare to see.

I wed you in the morrow, I give you true loves kiss.
United we are happy, and will never be remiss.

Don’t Think About Me, My Love

Never. Please forget. Who loved
The love, the love, the love
Only deja vu

Deja vu, deja vu
Deja vu, deja vu

The love, the love
The love, the love

Mine, yours
Yours, mine

Deja vu
Deja vu

Oh, Love, where do you walk? Where?
Tell me, tell me.
“In your graveyard. In your favourite graveyard.” Said my love.

Nice cemetery, exactly a graveyard, so ancient. Yes. A tale of the past.
This graveyard is a poignant place, with incredible memories, great noble personalities.
Yes, my hoped love, that’s why you are right there. There is your tomb, your gravestone.

You want to finish your life. I know. A soft breeze said you want to die in this graveyard.
I hope you bought your gravesite. Oh, my hoped love. Hmm. I dreamed your sparkling soul.
Candles are burning, flowers radiating in your memory. On your beautiful tombstone. Love.

I love you. I love you.
I loved you. I loved you.

You want to finish your life
Please, please don't
Don't do, don't do

My love, I am with you
Because everything are

Deja vu
Deja vu

Just for you
Just for you

Oh love
Oh love

Loved you, a wanderer. Who needed to find
Hmm. That’s why he was a lonely wanderer
To find. The love. Hmm. Yours. Dust of love.

Dust
Dust

I loved you.
Hmm
I loved you

The path is my hope
In your graveyard to find
Find
Find
My only one hope

Your pure love
Oh, love

Still loving
Loving
You

I am walking there
Imagined you

Hmm

Tired past

Living memories
Your face, life

No this time
No. Never

Poison
For soul
And mind

Good
for you
the
deja vu
bye

Don’t
Remeber

Loved
You

Savor

Thank you for limping into my heart
With a fractured wing and a shattered horn
For I have reveries of you
Might we have hitched paths?perhaps in our past lives
For I see reclamation when I dance in your eyes
These chaste hands are ready to brave the serenades of your wind
Find a way to love more and invest less
For you dress the attire of my desires
I know we're young but might we draft our vowels in advance?
I wish to write to you what these lips do when you get close to them
For today I bless you with a calm heart and a bag of Roses
You deserve everything that you desire!
I love you K!

Tsunami

I was just reflecting if I truly love you..
You know as far as you can analyse these things.. or do I just like you intensely (different words for the same thing probably) and there was a moment, I can't quite pin it down in my mind. Or maybe lots of little realisations; when we walked together that time, or a hug that made me feel like I had arrived somewhere safe. Perhaps just sitting in silence and watching you, being drawn to absorb the shape of you.. that was a powerful moment. Longing to have you hold my hand. Human connection at it's most basic but so intensive and beautiful. I think there were lots of little moments after that. In your absence the ache of bereavement, for that was how I felt.. like the bear returned to the toy shop for a refund after years of dusty longing, then the hope of appreciation. Even then in the pain of loss, my love for you extended it's awareness as the Winter allows invisible growth underground..
So many profound moments where love climbed, and stretched, and expanded.
Every conversation, every breath, every message, every attentive word every considered pause, has strengthened and confirmed that I was always meant to love you for reasons as yet unclear. Maybe just to let you know you are so lovable, across your full spectrum of versions, moods, chapters and seasons of you. No 'don't love you' days. Just, 'now I will always carry you in my heart' days. I even love you more than when I started writing this and there is nothing either of us can do to stop this love tsunami.

When I awaken, when I’m awakening;
I get ready for school
And in the hallway at my arrival;
There you are girl, you…
You’re so beautiful
You’re so marvelous
You’re so cute and kind
Girl want ya ta be mine
Its love
Love
Was love at first sight, this is love at first sight
You’re such a pretty, pretty girl;
And I just wanna be in your world;
Oh! I find you lovely, won’t you please
Come and walk
Come on and talk
To me, to me
Girl cause I love you
It’s true, I believe I love you
Just because I’ve seen you with my eyes;
And I must realize its love, love
Love at first sight, love its love
Love at first sight
Seeing you in this morning was... For me
Love at first sight

I still love you with a love that goes beyond description
A love so full of passion that on my arm there's now inscription
It started on a day when I saw you on the stage
And ever since I'd look for times to get you to engage
In any conversation, any subject did comprise
To serve my real, true purposes, to hear your voice and see your eyes
Looking back into my own when you then spoke to me
While inside my heart was beating through my chest, good thing you couldn't see

Little did you know although through inkling it did seem
Until the day I told you that I had had a dream
A dream of us together, sitting in a park
Singing songs and drinking wine, a picnic until dark
Right near a lake with mountains, no thought where it could be
But then one night I browsed the net and saw it, Lake Annecy
And even now I still have dreams that you and I are there
Looking down from verdant hills as the world goes by somewhere

                   Whenever the sun
               Doesn't shine in my day,
       You somehow make it bright again
             When I look into your eyes.

                 When I see you smile,
         The light in your eyes and smile
              Makes me not miss the sun.
        So divine, your all-consuming ember!

         The world is cold, as cold as ice
      When you're not near, and I crave you
        Just like drought does cloudburst.
            That's how much I love you.

                     If you ask me...
             To hold up the twilight sky,
      I'd gladly hold all the stars in it, too,
                 Because...I love you.

Love Requires Sacrifice

Would you rather me lie? Not tell you the truth?,
Tell me,,,,is that really loving you?,
If I keep these things from you I would be lying to you,
How much could I love you if I just ignored the truth?,
Should I play along, not care enough to say?,
I'm sorry to say love doesn't work that way,,,,,
Would you like me to pretend? Because that would be easy,
Is that what you want? Because you wouldn't still be here with me,
Love always requires sacrifice, it's not always pretty to see,
I would want you to do the same thing for me,
Don't humor me when you see me screwing up,
If I get bent out of shape, I'll get over it soon enough,
But in your honesty to tell the truth,
Proves time and time again how much I love you,
That small moment of hurt opens my eyes,
I would never give up on our love because you've helped me realize,
I love you always.....
