You are become a dodge of love, My Dearest…
Or there are arrows other than my own,
That would entendril you once they have pierced,
That will deprive you of a higher throne…
Yet, I'll not Queen you yet, before time bends,
And you are sought by sots who drink perfume,
For I will know, before, what are your ends
And I will read the threads upon your loom.
There is no other, better man than me!
And yet, you dodge my arrows all the while,
And tell me you do stay while then you flee
Or come these paradoxes to beguile?
There is no better arrow at the ends
Than tells that we be lovers and not friends.

Time
Is suggested in
An old Dodge
Which has a visage
Of rust and broken glass..
Curiosity of roads traveled
Arises..and of conversations
Encased in many years..
All the more beautiful
With the emptiness of
Time...

Dodge Penitentiary, what are those voices/
Dodge Penitentiary, losing my mind doing time/
Dodge Penitentiary, where the am I?/
I entered Dodge Penitentiary, hardest of the hard/
My paws on the concrete, ready to fight/
I see familiar faces in the shadows/
Are they still my friends or will they test me/
Schizophrenic like crazy, my first time in prison/
I may be paranoid, but, I can hold my own/
My friends greet me, I'm part of the gang/
So... I see I'll be doing easy time here/
We run the prison, we control the Penitentiary/
I'm eating good, I hit the weight pile/
In no time, I'm packing on muscles/
I become the most respected here/
The guards learn to fear and respect me/
Dodge Penitentiary, vato, this easy time/
Ride or die in this Penitentiary/
Feels like home, but I miss my freedom/
Vato, this easy time/
Ummm... Does anyone know the Antichrist entered Dodge Penitentiary/

A Cowboy And His Thoughts On Dodge City
In the razor whip and faster gun
the flaming sun, the fertile fields
the rose-felt day
I walked alone
along the barren street
beneath bramble shields
A heart that swore to the purest truth
the eager thrills of wayward youth
With stripped heart allayed
steps taken and no holds barred
through soggy marsh
and burnt out corn
the west stands its ground
from eastern ridge and western sky
my horse knows well the way
six-guns speak,
roulette wheel creaks
the cowboys force their way
O' please, be thee still
as men attempt to force their will
and looks like no rain today
we wait for dusk and night
death be the greater fright
the dead buried at Boot Hill.
Robert J. Lindley, Aug, 10th 1972
Note- One of the greatest themes in movies is the Western and the cowboy.
Rawhide, Wyatt Earp, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and others all preached the moral theme of fair play and law and order. Think what theme movies teach today! Certainly not that, imho. RJL

That’s’ what they do in Theo’s lodge:
All sorts of wrong papers forge;
There every nosing cop dodge,
Who’d rogues from hideouts disgorge…
In Theo’s lodge would hoodlums surge,
Sweet crime at all times their urge;
There, new forms of it emerge;
When ‘This Sin and 'That' they merge…
So, from Theo’s lodge start Crime Purge:
From the Brown Brick ‘Hoodlums’ scourge
A crushing band’s rudest nudge
And just watch all of them budge,
Who Nation’s currency mar,
Factory face change of a car…
With all sorts of wrongs go far!

When you are as a fool titled
Calmly proceed with no grudge
In case you abnormally erupt
You just take the title firmly
Criticisms all can level
Without a tinge of truth
If you take it seriously
Peace will ditch you soon
Those making a scary attack
Will forget you very soon
If you carry their rotten act
You mind does accept filth
They achieve a silly pleasure
By cornering you vehemently
Their minds contain only trash
Their behavior is unhealthy
If those people are ignored
Their action will slowly die
They may feel fully rejected
Next step will be quitting.

Now that testing positive
Makes one a sex fugitive
Would you your thing or bum
Keep a distance from condom?
When passions surge
And sex is the urge
Isn’t it your dirge
To with “The Managed” merge?
And who would a dagger grab,
When it has begun to stab
Or disdain a rescue cab
While some squad seeks to you nab?
When it’s reasonable to dodge
And you won’t even budge
A bullet might you nudge
Like an angered serge!

Driver drove down dark dewy dirt road,
Despite the deer crossing sign displayed.
Drowning donuts in coffee,driving deliriously.
Dog Daisy, in the rear is demanding dog food.
Driver doesn't decide to give into demands.
Drool dropped on the back seat, disinfectant was,
desired on designer dodge seat, a real disaster.
Disappointment, dismay and disapproval loomed
on the remainder of the dreary despicable trip.

How can I explain my love for you
When I’m judging you
Afraid of every subject
You bring to my attention
Things on your vision board
Gained your intuition
You’re intuitive I’m a pessimistic
We both God’s students I’m Muslim
You Christian
Who gives a
Chuck Taylor ties like I’m hooping
But I’m just tired of falling for old games
I seen girls 3 times bad as you like the blue print
But I’m use to holding in
But this seems like I’m folding a letter with date on it
Chinese fold
Then it’s a bomb away
Throwing shots to your direction
We older it’s a section
If I die tomorrow let’s make kids our complexion
I was one year after 5 during 9/11
I get nervous and disguise the weather
And it means nothing but you ask God why are we catching
So many feelings when we don’t even how long we here
At the moment bring closer to your ears
I whispered that I love you and the butterflies reappear
I once stopped and got paint brushes from sears

Honeymoon At Dodge City
Our honeymoon were on first day;
Overnight in Dodge City did stay;
Supper digested;
Then we rested;
Headed to Colorado without delay.
Jim Horn
That was on Augusy 27th, 1966.
We started out in Wichita, KS.
Garden City is on other side of
Dodge City. They both ar on the
Arkansas River. Dodge City is
having voting problems.

Dodge Espionage
What we knew was that Trump did dodge,
Being eloquent and committing espionage;
Would connive;
We did survive;
Made things up that looked like a mirage.
Jim Horn
Can substitute any politician's name in
place of Trump's if you want to either
former or later or current or may be
Mormon.

A Dodge from X:
A thin layer of synthetic skin grips with poise
As small plastic fingers grasp on to the blades of grass
A shoulder raised
Ready to embrace
Steps retraced, redone
A swift move of confidence
Feet planted, and a shoulder pointed
Arms raised
They pull through to the back pocket
The body soon to follow
Rung off the pipe
A corner painted
A goal scored
A dodge from X

the advent of change.
Let our memories fade
and forever decay.
Even though my heart is aching,
I'm leaving you behind.
These idol hands are drowning
beneath the depths of you and I.
Belief is true insight.
There may not be a sign
when it's time.
Even though my heart is aching,
I'm leaving you behind.
These idol hands are drowning
beneath the depths of you and I.

saw it happen going to work one morning,

and braked for the amber light,
......kerlunkkkkkkkkkk.....writeorfff
If ya drivin in ya car,
ya dumb dum galah,
and ya thinking of dicing with a truck,
the buggers caint stop,
pull up,
till ya deadly ded-head,
out of luck,
and the bitumen is red from your guitar,
so stay away from truckers bumperbars,
cos funerals always seem 2 bloody suck,
stay in that other lane, ol hound-dog Huck ...
Don Johnson
