Stair

When you see stair
You start pace at bottom
To go to the top.

Got the T-Shirt

I've seen what you'll never see
I did what you dare not do
I hear what can't be heard
I know the knowledge unknown
I've been to the abyss
I lived many lives
I kissed death twice
I felt the slightest touch
I've swored past the limit
I tagged the rock at bottom
I've cried a river
I blead a pool
I carried the world
I thought the unthinkable
I've tasted the forbidden
I had it all
I've lost it all
I've sacrificed everything
I loved the unlovable
I've tried the hardest
I lifted many spirits
I believed the lies
I've righted the wrong
I've blessed the cursed
I shot the best
I ate the rest
I've saved us all
I've damned us all
I am who you dare not be
I've done what was Destined of me
I gave you everything
I hope you seen what you came to see
And this is all that's left of me
I've been there
I've done that

Angela Lee was her Name Acrostic Poem

Angela Lee
Name of an angel
Gone from Heaven
entered the earth
Looking for me
Angela

Lee
Even now
Everywhere I go

Was she heaven sent?
Always appearing in my dreams
She was there one day

Here she stood
Ever in my mind
Rarely gone away

No matter what
Always by my side
Married her
Ever since that date

It's spring and fresh Farmers Market
asparagus always calls for a quiche,
so I dig out the May,1986 Milk Calendar
recipe, you can’t get more Canadian.
We use a pressed wheat germ crust because
we’re not good at real pastry, the secret is
cold hands according to Sarah’s mother
and I guess we’re too hot handed.
Sauté 1 cup of chopped onion,
lightly steam approximately one
pound of chopped asparagus and place
onions and asparagus at bottom of pie crust.
Beat 3 of our neighbour’s farm fresh eggs
(4 ‘large’ store-bought eggs), then add
two-thirds cup plain yogourt, a cup of milk,
and a cup and a half of shredded old cheddar cheese
(yes, very much the 1986 Milk calendar but I
did use canola oil instead of butter for the sauté)
a tsp each of salt and dried dill (2 tbsp fresh if available),
one tbsp Dijon mustard and cinnamon and
nutmeg to taste (in my case this means a lot).
Pour egg mix over onions and asparagus over pie
(if desired top with a wheel of asparagus spears).
Bake at 375? for 35 minutes, let. cool for 10
and savour the taste of spring.

Life is always beautiful

If not, Mind is culprit,
It's conditioned to erect Wall
Not to see that all's Well

Live life King size
Be a Giver, that's only way
to enjoy seamless bliss flow
Sun scatters shine
Yet, does not lose its glow

Depend on Self
None can be there
24x7x365 for someone
Others too have others
depending on them

Live on Edge
Being at bottom of well
cannot make one grow
Grow beyond walls,
none can stop you grow

BOAT RIDE BY GOAT

A goat wore white satin coat,
not calling due to sore- throat.
It hired wooden boat to float.

Depth of stream was hundred fathoms.
Water entered through hole at bottom.

Boat sank slowly what to do!
Goat swam to bank as I knew.
So! I must stop my rhyme too.

At bottom of a glass of wine, finds truth
If he has a second, becomes uncouth,

If he has a third, he spits as he talks
Finally by 4th he wobbles as walks,

By the fifth can hardly stand, it’s his call
Just a drop left, let me finish it all,

The whore that is with him is just as bad,
Why do this, are they both insane, quite mad,

He has hit rock bottom, where to from now,
He feels himself slipping, and wipes his brow.

Water cascading over stairs of stone
Quietly thundering whoosh of glistening blur
Cool and sweet, giddy and dizzy, falling free
Tumbling, swirling, whirling in the warm sunlight
Plunging, splashing, crashing, spiraling downward
Over roughly smoothed rocks of time…

Exploding at bottom; a shower of white, color and light, joy and ecstasy
Settling to flow; swiftly slow, calmly crazy stream
Rolling over rocks, under trees, through day and night
‘Round bends, twisting and turning
Flowing ever onward to eternity and beyond…

Two souls, two spirits, mated, intertwined, awash in each other
Joined forever, mingled together, shaken and stirred
Blithely dancing, blissfully chancing, romancing
Surging rush of passion pulsing, body trembling
Wildly beating heart jumping, spinning head thumping
Two eyes; warm dark pools, soft and sweet – inviting…

S P L A S H, over the falls!
I fell in, submerged in total beauty
I fell in love

WINTER WONDERLAND

The snowmen line the silent street at night.
Their bright smiles gleam with frozen teeth of stone.
Until the crackle of a bunny’s light —
its paws so sweetly greet the dark alone.
His fluffy fur, does mimic, soft snow sown.
His beady red eyes blink at Jack Frost’s throne.

Then dawn spurs pinkish pride upon the land.
The sun does tease a melt, but won’t deprive
the children’s vacation of all ‘tis planned.
They dash with suits and gloves and boots to drive
their old and new gay sleighs, red cheeks alive —
the snow does fly, like buzzing bees of hive.

The wild prints scar, delight, the cache of snow.
A springer gnaws the fallen carrot prize.
The skates relentlessly slide to and fro,
the cheers of fright and glee from hills arise.
At bottom rung — sure thing — a snowball flies.
As moms call each, they sigh and wave sad byes.

This Winter wonderland delights all things.
At angel’s excitement, the church bell rings.

Remember these youthful days of long ago
going to the movies really so full of fun
one of the earliest memories comes to mind
being at the pictures days of little sun

The 'Wizard of Oz' was a great movie
full of suspense and drama music was fab
I loved Dorothy's innocence just like me
even now think of it was never drab

The tin man was so sad with no heart
a bit like me then wanted so to change
even the scarecrow at bottom of class
with no brain that was me still at start

Now that poor lion full of fear
I knew too well stammer held me down
so many pictures here could easy relate
but hope came my thoughts got clear

But for me the memory that highlights it all
Dorothy the star way up 'over the rainbow'
watching to it again haunts all my mind
bringing home feelings makes one glow!

Premium Member Two Cats Eyes View

Hi you guys we're Smokey and Jinky
two cats we are Scottish born
one of us is grey, the other jet black
bright and bushy tailed in the morn

Now we lived in the lovely countryside
so free, staying out there on a farm
occupiers were farmworker and his wife
had only son Gordon their only arm

He was a good boy really liked us
no no!, was totally loving S and J
we lay at night at bottom of his bed
so sweet and comfy till the new day

We would sit on the window ledge
Gordon always looked for us there
letting us in out of the cold
so often to be warm inside care

We're now up in our heavenly land
where we often think of days gone by
our buddy Gordon took us in his heart
united we all were boycats! so don't cry!

(Smokey(grey) and Jinky(black) were two cats we had at home on our cottage by a farm, being my two real friends.)

A Chirping Message From Jiminy Cricket

Brother and sister crickets please recognize grasshoppers,
