Permission for draft of requisition order
Civil war family heir
Destroyer class reconstructionism
Turn liberty up a notch for the western fleet
Fussy bonnet held us high

A destroyer class vessel is surplus
Afforded the documentation of drafting
Her pardon
Is not a priority
Abandon requires address

The Girl Lost To Time

She was like a bull
in the sunshine—
angry one moment,
then happy the next.

That’s what Olivia was:
the way she was with
everyone.

A short series of well-
regulated emotional
stability, followed by
a long series of emotional
outbursts.

She was loved,
and she was hated.
She was kind, then she
was cruel.

But most of all, she
was confused—

confused about why people left her,
confused about why she couldn’t
stay happy, or calm, or
placated.

Olivia was like a bull
in the sunshine.

She wanted to love,
but she just couldn’t bring
herself to give it to
everyone.

OF THE ESSENCE OF LIFE AND LOVE
(Apropos Of 37 Years Of Onderful Onement Oneness)

The essence of you, is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
Whenever I find myself with you,
It seems there is nothing I cannot do:-

Yes, your essence is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
The light you bring into my life,
Dispels all gloom and strife:-

You promised to leave me never;
And I, to love you now, and forever:-
Hey angel, you mean the world to me:
And I shall love you throughout eternity:

       For you are the essence
Of my life and supreme love
       My blessed angel
Gifted to me by God above:-

Premium MemberWow

I do not remember the first words in my heart nor the first ones that I uttered from my lips when I first set eyes on her 55 years ago back in the summer of '70. But if I were to guess, I think that I must have said, Wow!

Wow! Look at that smile!
Wow! What beauty to behold!
Wow! From where did she come?
Wow! Do I dare speak to her?
Wow! Could this be the one?

Well, anyway, two years later, we got married.
And having been married 53 years, here we are.
And I'm still saying, "Wow!"
Wow! I am so very blessed.

Playtime

It is not but a tiny ball of yarn I say as I roll it around in my hand then throw it away. The littlest furball sees it and squalls a hiss which made her mother even twitch. She pounced and rolled and bounced and scolded that teeny tiny ball of yarn until she molded it upon her four paws. Down on her back it was a balancing act which then brought a smile to my face in fact. Oh my goodness the cuteness and the pureness addresses each part of my heart. Her eyes alight as her brother jumps in or on if you will. Within a moment it is a torrent of hisses and scratches which the ball of yarn matches by somehow staying together. As the claws turn to paws each lies on their and pauses if only to draw more air. Then again it ensues two frisky kitties on the loose as the ball they did choose for theirs.

The 30th Anniversary of Selena's Death

Selena was a singer and she has been dead for three decades.
She was very talented and was murdered after being betrayed.
A former friend gunned Selena down.
She died and is buried in the ground.
The killer worked for Selena and she decided to steal.
After that lady was fired for theft, she decided to kill.
That terrible woman deserved to lose her job.
Selena didn't deserve to die or to be robbed.
It's sad to know that Selena is gone forever.
If you're wondering when she'll be forgotten, the answer is never.

[Dedicated to Selena Quintanilla-Perez (1971-1995) who was killed 30 years ago today on March 31, 1995]

For Her

you get home from a work
greeted with a smile
a hug and i'll hold you for a while
i'll ask how it's been
and you'll give me an answer
that's nothing short of true
we'll go to bed
and greet each other in the morning
rather than every blue moon
and i'll smile
knowing i can hold you again
even if it's only for a little while
you'll laugh
and i'll be reminded
how i love you so
talks of getting married
i promise
i won't ever go
you'll say thanks
for me doing a little chore
i'll say thanks
for loving me often
and loving me some more

I Could Never Be Wrong

you remind me of
movies & jokes, only the best
kisses & naps, a well earned rest
you remind me of my favourite song
if loving you was right
then i
could never be wrong

For Only You

since i met you
it's always been you
the one i go to sleep and dream of
you fill my nights with full moons
you've planted seeds in my mind
that you kissed till they bloomed
so please
leave your lips on my pillow
next to the scent of your perfume
i hope you stay for a while my love
for you teach my mind to be kinder
cause sometimes
i get down on myself
but your smile serves as a reminder
to keep my head above water
and that's the power of people
if love is a drug then
i've been stuck by your needle
and i know it's mutual
cause when you speak
i can see it in your pupils
like a little candle that's lit
and as it flickers and sits
i see your mind glow alive
as the flicker laces and faces
my lips
i'm holding a candle too
a bright butane blue
and although
i was the one who sparked it
my love
it stays a flame
for only you

Eighteen Years

Eighteen years ago, I was cradled in my mother’s womb.
Eighteen years ago, God whispered me into existence.
He saw me before the world did.
He knew me before I knew myself.

Seventeen years came and went
Some good, some hard, some unbearable.
Yet, here I stand, one more year added,
Not because I willed it, but because He did.

Some say, “I made it another year.”
But no—God carried me here.
His grace held me when I couldn’t hold myself.
His mercy spoke when I had no words.

So today, God, I thank You.
For every face You placed in my life,
For the ones who stayed, the ones who left,
For love. For lessons. For laughter. For her. Oh, her.
For grace that covers me even when I don’t deserve it.

You see my struggles.
I don’t hide them I lay them at Your feet.
Because every battle I’ve overcome
Is just another reminder of how deep Your love runs.

You know my heart, the weight it carries,
The dreams, the fears, the silent prayers.
And still, You’ve given me 18 years.

I own nothing. I deserve nothing.
But You, You are my everything.
And for that, I will never stop thanking You.

Deliberate New York

Hey repeat
You a needer
Last night the today beeper
Called me back
Hey repeat
Ima lose her?
Night wards under rains
Ferry won’t visit my shores
Last daymare you have?
Me running out of boys
Like girls cost news
Hey miss
Did works close the deal?
Didn’t rules get you clothes?
Ima mystery from ireland
Just like tank shells
Follow my wind
Brushed off the vested
Gotta let you bake it
Take nuns home in limes
Paused enough lines to bury the sun’s syrup

Our Forevermore

In her eyes sparkle bright and true, a true hymn of your divine view, when she's near my world takes onto a new hue, though many lay before me, they've never been you, with every glance my soul begins to soar, a never before seen lore carved into my core, here's my ode- my love for you to see, a sonet of our loves harmony.

A Warning From A Lady

I am over it,
I'm cancelling it,
Marriage? I am not a vow,
Until I see what I saw,
I left the effect of Aww,
I lead my life in a soar,
Please, I don't even need to listen,
My skin is still glowing and porcelain,
There is nothing to claim,
Please, for all my attornies to shut down his name,
I have my own game,
They are all the same,
I am waiting for someone special,
I don't need to feel regret,
The drama is already on set,
We just met,
I listen to the Angel's harp,
The melody is so well-played,
Still don't know me,
I get myself ahead of the game,
I am not your fool anymore,
As I am searching for more,
I would not allow myself to soar,
Without my new lover,
Who does not take me for a sober,
That one is not my beauty rival,
I already have another arrival,
Of my foremost Idol,
Whom they mistook for her,
They are like snobbish and snorty goblins,
Trying to snatch away the frenzies and even my Clairins,
I have my reasons,
Unlike her, she is not herself,
Blown out of proportion,
Oh, she bit herself again,
Bye, bye not seeing you again.
