...I could never forget you.//
Not even if I tried. For, see, when the springtime comes again each year, and the leaves begin to grow once more, your face is all I see. Your lips as they smile, your eyes as they glisten, your sweet laughter bouncing off the tin rooftop, all of it comes alive for me. You will always exist in me. No matter where I go. And even if you can't be mine and I cannot be yours, when I'm scared or get overwhelmed with life's noise, I'll close my eyes and go to my happy place: The Autumn Times. Because I know that no matter if we're together or apart, if I ever lose myself, that I'll always find you there. That's where home is. Even if it only exists for me.
One Year of You, Melissa
One year ago, the stars began,
And heaven said, "She is mine."
A small spark, a breath so new,
The world was brighter all for you.
Your giggles flower like morning sun,
Your eyes, two stars that brightly shine.
Each step you take, each sound you make,
Turns average days awake.
You've taught us love in its pure form,
In warm fingers and sleepy sighs.
One smile, a coo so soft,
The world seems new with you.
We have witnessed you grow, in wonder, in awe,
Each step taken in love and law.
From lullabies to weeping whines,
You've filled our hearts, you've filled our skies.
Here's to you, our birthday star,
Our miracle, just as you are.
May grace and happiness be with you,
With oceans broad dreams to chase.
A single candle today, but, oh, the flame
It shines hope, it whispers your name.
Happy birthday, little dove,
You are our world, our limitless love.
Yesterday was your birthday
Unfortunately, that was a busy day
However, I went to the garden
Of my heart this beautiful morning
Where I picked an invisible rose that could bring:
Happiness, joy, good humor and an early spring.
I shaved my beard and mustache to make your day
With all my heart, I wish you a happy birthday
Oh! I would like to charm you until nightfall
When the rainbow is no more in the fall
Toward another horizon, for another season
Please accept this rose, this poem, this song.
P.S. This poem is dedicated to my good friend.

She was like a bull
in the sunshine—
angry one moment,
then happy the next.
That’s what Olivia was:
the way she was with
everyone.
A short series of well-
regulated emotional
stability, followed by
a long series of emotional
outbursts.
She was loved,
and she was hated.
She was kind, then she
was cruel.
But most of all, she
was confused—
confused about why people left her,
confused about why she couldn’t
stay happy, or calm, or
placated.
Olivia was like a bull
in the sunshine.
She wanted to love,
but she just couldn’t bring
herself to give it to
everyone.
They rise and sparkle and crackle,
Shaming the nakedness of the skies
And the city, with one frightful flame of
Youth,
Burning with the zest of
Seasonal lore.
At Christmas, they salute the days
Creamed by snow and sleet,
Thrusting in us the wisdom of
Global ceremonies.
They are the lightning of Yuletide —
Lightning unaccompanied by rain.
Shaped in balls and spears, and lean
Fragments of flagrant colours,
They are armed with their own thunder —
Thunder that speaks volumes and calms the rage in
Frenetic dogs.
They are coloured paints splashed lavishly across the broadest
Canvas ever —black and seamless
We see through their lens, the running dusts
Of sparks,
The dancing circus of sky-circuits
And the happy wars waged on the frontiers
Of seasons.
They strobe around the cold earth.
New Year’s Eve is riddled with conundrums,
Waking sleepy souls to sneeze up details of
A frazzled year.
The heavens are lit up lavishly,
Electrified to stupor,
Reminding us of choirs that chorus to the tunes
Of life everlasting.
Carousels ride through our minds, young now,
Old tomorrow,
With sparks that shine this moment
And dim the next.
Such is life.
You're the light that's brightens up my life
My best friend my love my heart my wife
You're the reason I wake up everyday
You give me strength and my days are no longer gray
10 years have came and gone so fast
The love we share will forever last
For when I gaze into your eyes
I see forever our love just grows it never dies
Here's to 10 more years of love and bliss
For you are my one and only I will never find another love like this
I'll always remember the vows we made on that Special Day,
I promised that I would Love, Honour and Obey.
As I look back on these years just one thing comes to mind
If I had searched the whole wide world,a better Man I wouldn't find.
You were the starlight in my eyes, the reason for my life,
You gave me five beautiful children when I became your wife,
You made me laugh, you made me cry you gave me Comfort too,
I know I wasn't perfect but I tried very hard for you.
If I could have just one wish I know what it would be
That all the lovers in the world could be as happy as you and me.
I Miss you so much Darling, life will never be the same,
But the love and all the memories will forever remain.
So on this very special day my thoughts are all of you,
I know that you will give me the love and strength to carry through.
One day my Darling I will kiss ?? and hold you tight,
Until then My Darling Mike you'll be my guiding light ??.
God bless you Darling
You and I have been friends for many moons
You and I have played together countless afternoons
Not to mention many mornings and many nights.
Since today is your birthday, I want to send you: kaleidoscopic lights
Multiple dancing rainbows of heaven, exotic flowers
And warm hugs and I’ll blow fresh new kisses from afar to your ears.
I called you my special darling for numerous reasons
I hoped our friendship would flourish through all seasons
Even though I am now disappointed, down and sad
And though we’re no longer committed to each other; I’m not mad.
No matter what, today is a special and beautiful day
For you and me. I’m very happy for you
In my heart, you will always have a niche, a stay
You will forever remain deep in my spleen and my soul.

Happy Birthday PoetrySoup
cheers for keeping us in the loop
For two decades the successful Mark Pringle
has help the world's poets here to mingle
Two decades and one, we've shared this ride,
Through laughter, tears, with love as our guide.
The years have flown, but still we stand,
Hand in hand, heart to heart, our love so grand.
We've built a life, a story to tell,
In every moment, in every spell.
From the first hello to this love we've grown,
Together we've flourished, together we've flown.
Through the highs and the lows, we've found our way,
Every dawn a promise, every night a stay.
The world may change, seasons may turn,
But in your love, I forever yearn.
Here’s to the years, to the memories so sweet,
To the future ahead, to the love we repeat.
For 21 years, we’ve made this life ours,
A love that’s timeless, that blooms like flowers.
Happy Anniversary, my forever friend,
May our love continue, with no end.
"Over the years we have soared hand in hand." By Poet
love
today
hand and hand
for me and you
will last forever
wishing life will go on
happy anniversary
a smile and big kiss just for you
life has been so very short for us
where did all the time go from young to old
Yesterday, white and cold was the weather
It’s now gone old winter
It’s like turning a light switch on
Today is the birth of the spring season
Let me wish you: Happy Anniversary, Ms. Spring
Happy Birthday, my love! Again, the birds are chirping
After a long séjour flying in a warmer climate
They look like lovers coming off a lavish date
Tonight is our turn to go to dinner
To a fine dining restaurant and then to the theater
Where we can unwind, relax and have fun
The tropical wind is back, the warmth of the sun
Is back and the moon is now dancing among the stars
And of course, the beauty of the magnificent flowers
Cannot be ignored. Old and grouchy winter is gone
All the lights and glitters are on, a new season is born.

Humankind
In an article, the question was what is the meaning of life? Many answers were about personal fulfillment and what made a person happy, but no one could answer that question. This I think is because we in the West are not religious, we do not believe in a God we are alone and that is scary and has an echo of colossal loneliness and the universe is empty
Night and day, light and dark, the fundament of
In all religions, perhaps the question of the meaning of life was asked and not answered
How the man-animal came into being is academic
But it was an animal that could think and become a human-dominating the living world
We can assume they were not friendly and had clans going around killing each other as we do today
The meaning of life is this, with a bit of love thrown for the sake of procreation, that it has no meaning, we live and die and are dead forever

when she smiles
it becomes infectious
the long-lasting effect it has
warms my heart
like hot chocolate on a winters day
your hugs
are the best medicine
only resulting in happiness
i hope my soul keeps you happy
for as long as you let it
because i love being around you
you showed me that love
doesn't have a time frame
but more of what we do
inside the moments together
watching the stars
or laughing in cars
i'm happy you're around
and i'm happy
it's your heart i found
thanks for being you
