May your annual commemoration
of the winter solstice
with one of the Earth's poles
at its maximum tilt from the sun
be abundant with innumerable manifestations
of felicity friends good food and fun
and may the next full circuit
of the ecliptic engender
a propensity toward
bestowing plenteousness too
and may unparalleled prosperity
be forthcoming
and settle like snowflakes
gently upon you

You are a commemoration.
You remind me of a once happy moment.
When everything else did not matter,
When for some time I felt a little bit better
All the words I thought you meant.
All the breathtaking texts you sent.
When you were there, when I required an ear.
During the times I thought your love was clear,
and your voice was the one I could hear.
Staring at each other, smile then eventually laugh.
For a moment we were happy, all that joy,
the love and happiness I never wished to destroy.
Wish I could say the same on your behalf.
When we both enjoyed the love and fun
While love stricken, under the spell of the sun.
Even though that is all in the past.
All memories did swear to last.
I bet, to cause more pain to my current situation.

Blown Fuse
I won’t be parading to honour the dead.
Something’s gone pear-shaped inside my head.
All the guilt and confusion that have built through the years
Have blown out the fuse in the space ’tween my ears.
I don’t know the reason, can’t explain why it’s so.
All the rest are parading, but me? I can’t go.

Clinger to the stars
Pulled down by gravity
Beneath are sparrows
Squeeze me to become the warrior
Blindfold me with the darkness
Faze me with pretensions
Shower me with Benjamin
Dry me with ignorance
Kill me with your vocabulary
I’ll bury me with thoughts of you
Let me wear your ring
Wear my weary
We let the seed grow
I water it with tears
Your sunlight is paper
We failed
Throw your hopes up
Veils are for dreamers
Love is the grim reaper
Insensitivity is the winner

Commemoration
In my commemoration they were standing on my grave
I was onlooker to them far from eternal base
Claps by the hands offer of garlands
Shaking neck side by side a note of publish in some face
Women and men most of them were contemporary saints
Among colleagues only few were chewing gums
I wished to pour down myself in the mid to accept
Whether they will recognise me with personification
Remembering again they missed me era back
I concluded wish not to cede in front of men
A game of culture forced by time
Waist slanting remained to see my broken legs pelted by unknown stones
Lots of such plays in many squares producing traffic jams
I did not like to see more only once in a year
Lost charms could not germinate cult in heated mid day burn
Amicable loyal showed by clouds covering sun commemoration.

From Topeca County
To Maryland and back
Thurgood spoke to the little flock
"I've opened door and country,
Now children, in the struggle don't look back
O children, don't you look back."
Man made laws defended their immoral cause
But the Spirit of God is not blind
Education's sun the cold chill now thaws
We'll show you have an eqaul but better mind
From this struggle, children, don't look back
O children, don't you look back
Rise up, Phoenix, now take your place
Wing the senates, the schools and courts
O shine the bright lamps of your face
To plough the darkness, seed beyond sports
Carry the struggle, and don't look back
O children, don't you look back
Then Thurgood went to sleep, God rest him
Press the strugglr for your children and for love of him.

Delicate purity
Softly pallid
None akin
Of affection and beauty
Chilling
Seraphic tears
Wept
Sodden snippets
Of yesterdays
Monochrome
Reminders
Without order
Devolving back
To nothingness
Amorous and beautiful
But so cold
