On this day we reminisce,
The little boy we love and miss,
Even though you had to go,
Just know your whole family love you so,
In your sisters, brothers and parents hearts,
And ours were broken into many parts,
Your wings were ready, our hearts were not,
In a huge family of love you’re never forgot,
The day you left us was impossible to obtain,
In our hearts and minds, you’ll forever remain

Mama taught me to remember the celebrations
The ninth spoke to me
Remember me
Remember him, who sits alone
with his purple urn
Her ashes, not the same
The clinks and cheers,
a shame
Her lips would sip from his glass
He’d plant a kiss
The honor, we miss
Now, near her frame, her smile inhabits
the room, but mama’s presence
is ash, contained
Wedded bliss so missed

Wishing you a day
Which is special for you
And for your parents
I'm very lucky
To have you
A friend, like a brother
You are very kind
A person with a great mind
You, a happy friend of mine
Happy birthday dear
Have a great day
Be happy and enjoy your day
The desires that you made
What you want to be fulfilled
May Almighty fulfil all
Why don’t you just appreciate who I am and what I try to do…
All I ever wanted is to be a good wife and mother too…
Yet sometimes I feel torn by the past and the present…
Totally accepting that you are my rock while my first family isn’t…
I know I can’t live in both places at the same time you see…
But without you and them where I would I truly be…
And though the quiet is a blessing for now…
God will show us in hardtimes what we’re really missing somehow…
The fact that although we’re their Mother and Father for today…
Soon very soon they will be but memories of yesterday..
So let us be the parents while we can…
And help each to together stand.
Today’s the anniversary
Of when my parents wed,
Which they would likely celebrate
If they were not both dead.
It was 1947
When they tied the marriage knot,
Never knowing then that 33
Were all the years they’d got.
So they never hit the big one,
Toasting number 7-5.
I will raise a glass to honor them,
Their spirits still alive.
Mom and Dad, though not here,
this day forever, makes me so
glad!
To many others, of all colors and
creeds, you gave, greed was not your
need.
God saw what you did, blessing you
with such outstanding, endless,
abundance.
I think of you each day, and truly,it makes
your daughter's heart twirl, doing a happy
dance!
Because of you both, I have all my fingers
and lovely
toes.
Your granddaughter, now as beautiful,
as a blooming, fresh,scented Spring
rose.
Your grandson,intelligent, a true American,
ethical, kind and never
bold.
We live in a city, where God, country,
family always comes
first.
It all began with you, two, and thus we
live lives with no spiritual
thirst.
Thank you for life, what a fantastic couple,
husband...and his loving,
wife!
My love and respect forever,
Panagiota

" Like us, every bird and it's child needs a home" Quote by poet
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A dove in spring flew helplessly
searching for a place to lay it's egg
No huge trees around where it could build its nest
"If I lay twigs on houses people throw them away
What do I do now?
Watch a crow eat my egg..."
Distressed it flew hither and thither.
It came to my balcony placed some twigs, laid an egg
I watched in wonder how it incubated it
Not a moment it would get up
Finally egg hatched
Little one came
Both parents fed the little one
I would help them by giving grains and water
Pink skinny body it was so small and tender
Crow was always hovering by wanting to eat it
But the mother just wouldn't leave the kid alone
I watched the kid grow
Slowly it got feathers and flew away...
It is a wonderful, beautiful memory
one which I can never forget
Birds, colourful fluttering beauties
Melodiously chirping all day
Should not become extinct.
DIAMOND JUBILATION
I’ll be dripping with diamonds today.
They’ll parade proudly on my chest.
For the proliferation of the best day
Spent in honor of my parent’s crest.
Small sparklers a joyous sampling,
Little butterflies latent potentiality —
Breaking the sound barrier of reality
In their quiet splendiferous offing.
The little danglers will spread their wings
Sailing across the turquoise sea
The expanse and depth of its glory —
This cheerful celebration means much to me.
The jubilation of precious jewels.
Twins to others — but to themselves —
Sixty years of pulling together the cool
lifetime of love and happiness like no other.
Do you feel the air today?
Your breath as diamonds fill the space.
The jewels cascading, twirling, romancing.
Did you notice your feet no longer touch the floor?
Floating, in disbelief; gratitude
at the forever after spice of life.
Your wrists ribbon’d together —
It’s been a pleasure.
Time moves so fast but it’s so full.
Paradise could be so sweet
underneath the moon and stars.
Thursday of your dreams.
Diamond Jubilation —
Fills the trenches of your cheeks
Young at heart and awfully sweet.
I am always understated
My parents make me frustrated
Boys are stupid
I am bad at being Cupid
I always end up with a jerk
Usually when I get my perks
I walk around with my sassy perks
Then a guy that said holla
I'm like ; you got a dolla
He's like why?
So I can be a balla
that's why I need that Dolla
I ain't no fool
Cuz I go to school
I'm good
Even though I'm from the hood.
Valentine
My dear brothers and sisters
What special in Feb 14th?
Why did you prefer a bl/\dy clothes?
Why did you celebrate the death of a lover?
Why do you dress nakedness on this day?
Why do you enjoy mocking your virginity?
You broke a door locked by thy Creator
You behave like dogs
You exchange doggy saliva
You are out there looking for wears
Which your parents can't avoid
They keep starving at home because of you
But you spent thousands for a single day
You took photos as many you want
Your parents find it difficult to change their clothes
A tuition fee of twenty thousand
Your mathematical equation turn it to forty
When your wall is being drainage off
And your wall allowed every drowner
A fool looking for his/her val
They romance you such as animal
You commit sins call for hundred lashes
And you call it pleasure
Are you capable of account??
On the day of accountability...
Endearing love, it flanks your lives - the key?
two hearts with mercy's gift. Your hopes and dreams
o’er flowed offspring’s dry banks to guarantee
success and joy. Your children came to streams
and drank for years devoid of thanks to thee.
Still flowing freely, your water redeems
enduring love long overdue. With grace -
a cruise on us. You pick the time and place.
