Hi Soupers a long time since i have blogged..

Reading recently on poets successes both here on soup and on projects of publishing one’s work.

I would like also to add to the list, a story of souper member, Mandy Tams (Golden Girl).

A Russian education establishment recently released a paper to universities there, on learning English,

categorizing the language into certain aspect of which it wants its students to review.

One of the classifications being ‘What is the subject of stylistics?’

Followed by an explanation, and review of English vocabulary, phonetic and lexical stylistic devices.

Then they produce a list of poems and poets, for examples to work on, of form rhyme and rhythmic styles. the list is as follows:- The Rime of the ancient mariner/ Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

A Place in the world/ Taylor Swift.

The Eagle/ Alfred Lord Tennyson.

Italian Sonnet/ James Deford.

Sonnet 18/ William Shakespeare.

Blankets of stardust/ Mandy Tams. (This poem is on soup)

Just like to say congratulations to Mandy, being in a list of such eminence.

I feel this is an amazing feat, and well deserved!

Harry this is for you once said you thought I had something, you weren't sure what but you have helped and tutored me and I can never thank you enough, you even told me I could present a radio show and you were right there too, I am presenting one in Spain in Oct and this is all down to you.
