Wow! This is eye-opening! Never have I seen an acrostic that held so much meaning and truth. I love how you've used the name to question what's associated with taking on a name that doesn't live up to the name (hope that makes sense). Great write!

Karen, oft we cling so hard at our trunks that our branches wither from trying, believe me I tried, in the end, we find that our first name alone suffices, anything more is just a mere extension, you alone will always suffice as long as you love the woman who have become, be kind and gentle to her, as you age you'll find the mirror will treat you much gentler, sending u love, hugs and all that you might need, with a sip of amicable cheer, go on girl, keep writing, love xxx

So are you trying to say, theres more to you than meets the eye? Id say thats true for most women, a mystery for men to unravel, but most men have fun unravelling gifts, which is what women are, gifts from god, blessings Carl

A great punchy poem. I loved it from the start, but it has taken me to read a few comments below to understand the meaning. I think I've got it now, well done. Thanks also for your Well Wishes on my “Southern Christmas” blog. Having posted it so late I was not expecting any responses, so am overwhelmed. It has further buoyed my Festive Season. May this Season treat you well too, Scott
