Sorry

SORRY (ETCETERA ETCETERA) In my world a word of genuine emotion, today in this battlefield for far right, far left and all those in between, a word reconstructed, for those wrong doers caught, and only when they are, a buzz word for a last chance grovel, for a population conditioned to except the insincerity and false tears that evaporate as quickly, as one’s memory of their misdemeanour. © Harry J Horsman 2022

Biblical pastors can relate to this important message, thank U Harry: sin is calked anything but! Folk like to say, "mistakes, error, lapse, wrong," for known sins, especially what 1 Corinthians 6 calls, "sins inside the body." ( Sins of injustice & theft may be contrasted with known sexual sins.) ThanX for reading me May16th

Sorry can be a sorry word, Harry, when not used in its correct way. You are so right. Blessing.

True words here Harry, One thing I will bring to anyone's attention Is I see the hallmarks of 'child abuse all over the Plandemic first there was the gaining of trust Just as is done with a child, the encouragement Of people to help-out the media freinds approval Being given, then the lockdowns rolled in with that 'getting us used to a.. What was it called now? Oh yes the new normal..' ( work it out people ) think and reason here.'

You wrote it best Harry. So much corruption, dishonesty, and what can I get for myself does not stop them from lying, hurting, or taking advantage of the people. Hope your doing well my friend...

Hello hh - Sorry indeed. Always will the far left and insincerity strike. What ever happened to the concept for the people by the people of the people. Your message is clear. Best wishes for the contest. Blessings now and always. (smile)

Hello Harry ... your poem demonstrates the political situation here just now. The deputy prime minister described the prime minister in a text as a hypocrite and a liar - all good though, he said 'sorry' - thank you Harry - Lindsay

heavy, Harry, sorry, just another word. Fifty/fifty, it's the in-between that will be weeded out! A winner! You may want to fix the date;) Good luck

The UK--Dates are traditionally and most commonly written in day–month–year (DMY). A good lesson indeed.

Harry, you certainly touched on the politicians of today as the only thing they are sorry for. Is that all they've got in a lie or ect. They are never sincere in their appology. Good luck in the contest. Blessing ~ Debra

Harry, I hear your message resonating. Indeed, I concur with your well-stated thoughts. It's challenging to be in such a world for those like yourself. Truthfulness is paramount with oneself and many others.

The buzz word- 'Sorry" if uttered with genuine feeling, is a magical word. But if it drops from one mechanically with no feeling it becomes just a cliche...! Mature and wise thoughts Harry !

Beware the false prophet, seems like we are overrun with them! Too many seem to think merely saying 'sorry' is enough to repair the damage they create, when it is not even the start - very insightful piece ~

Yes, we can put that word among many others that are just meaningless, yet I find myself using them as well on FB when I hardly know the person I am talking to. you said you missed my interaction with you here? I thought I was always keeping up on all your new poems. Please let me know if I ever skip over one, will you? Well, leaving soon for my TGIF movie. This time hubbie is with me. he had covid for TWO weeks. I did not get it. Feel so glad. Neither of us jabbed. he has asthma but was ok.

Sorry I got caught, rather than sorry I've done wrong. "Buzz word for a last chance grovel" great line.

Hi Harry; yes, I hear you, and share your sentiments. Well stated. For someone like ourselves, where honesty with self and others is everything, it is difficult to be in this world. Too many without a soul apparent. Blessings my friend. Joe.
