Yesterday
Yesterday, at the castle or was it a long time past?
All our lives we never met
Our dreams into reality we could make them last
Troubles now our lives are set.
Seemed we were meant to meet
So now to the fates we are in debt
Far behind now the guilt as our hearts in rhythm beat
Away from searching eyes since we met.
Now we will long for tomorrow for some peace
It waits for us to take hold and hold tight
Looks mean nothing as our mature eyes crease
As long as we hold each other through the night
Though the hours are passing, they rob us all
They’re still our friends while present.
Here we are, not knowing when we fall
To hold each other is why we were sent
Stay with me, I know you long for that call.
Oh woe the time passed, the hours now gone
I grieve in my heart for that unmet one
Believe my words, my heart is true
In you I believe with feelings new
Yesterday at the castle when I met you.
