Bethlehem's Star

Bethlehem’s star luminous cross delicately hung by cherubs adorning a cold night sky The warmth of a promise yet to be fulfilled lured shepherds and wise men alike to a humble manger where a Savior drew his first breath exhaling in the bitter air of a world He sought to save

There's a small city located just north of Philadelphia called Bethlehem, PA. They have a star on top of a hill overlooking the city. Just a few miles to the north, there is a town called Nazareth, PA. Somehow, these two towns came to my mind while reading your fine work.

Wow, this is truly a special write Carolyn! I really love the subject matter immensely! And I love the part of when Christ breathed his first breath...of the bitter air...Oh, now that is powerful! I feel that within me that the air we breathe is definitely bitter! You did well with this poem! Awesome Work!!
