SOME POETS HERE ON SOUP - Harry Horsman's Blog

Write about the state of the planet.
Some on the conservation theme,
Some on a religious theme,then there is the ecomomic and business theme,
and of course the political aspects....
and all these make for excellent poetry, many i have read here on soup...
But it is another concern that i personally have, one i believe a major problem,
and one that ties all these aspects together that of Manipulation..
The whole history of the planet is riddled with it, and in the real world, maybe we do need to have leaders and those that need to be lead, but my argument is, it is the application of the leadership that is important.
Today the buzz word for those whom deem fit to lead is subtlety, a gradual sprinkling of persuasion, a strategy to last throughout the years and for eternity.
As a historic. (My ex multinational company i worked for,terminology, not mine) I can easily compare today with yesterday and the difference in aspects applied, and only when i and some others here on soup of my age die, will this subtlety become open slather, the system now begins at the cradle, and is rife throughout the education curriculum.
All this for the benefit of the few, those to enjoy this world, like the old Gods on Olympus....
