Born in Skipton raised in the village of addingham in wharfedale, moved to New Zealand for 36 years, now a resident of Perth Western Australia, i have 2 sons 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..Sons were born in the uk, 2 grandchildren in New Zealand, 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren are true blue aussies.

Hi everyone,, just lately i've been forunate to be able to spend a lot of time here, and in doing so, have read many wonderful poems,, and made new friends, but alas time is now at a premium. with another project i really want to get into, and also personal reasons...
i will hopefully still be able to check in once a day,, but my comments on yours poems will be very limited.. this blog being written mainly to advise you all that i'm not ignoring anyone, and will at least still try and read your poem, and even endeavour to comment but as i said eariler, only very limited....I also would like to take this opportunity, to thank you all for the comments on my poems,, which i hold dear to my heart!

I'm in the same boat Hrry but never thought to say so here; that's a good idea so people don't think you got killed or something. I've sure enjoyed your generous comments at my site, they are such "feel good words" that brighten my day and make me feel appreciated. Harry, I'm glad you will still read many poems, while taking care of the new. I think I will join you for a bit. I will only be on the soup every other day. my vacation is over. Today was my first day at work... LOL... I almost took 2 weeks off... by the way, I'm glad you are not avoiding us... xox~PD

Harry, good luck on your other project and I totally understand. It gets that way for me sometimes and I feel guilty when I can't be here as much at those times.
