Born in Skipton raised in the village of addingham in wharfedale, moved to New Zealand for 36 years, now a resident of Perth Western Australia, i have 2 sons 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..Sons were born in the uk, 2 grandchildren in New Zealand, 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren are true blue aussies.

WENT TO POST A COMMENT ON SUKMAWATI KOMALA,, AND THE PAGE IS BARE, NO POEMS THERE AT ALL...I CANNOT UNDERSTAND THESE ASPECT...ONE DOES NOT JUST DISAPPEAR FOR NO REASON AT ALL..

..READING PD'S BLOG, AND ANDREA'S COMMENT THERE ALSO,, ABOUT FOLK CREATING ACCOUTS, JUST TO MAKE COMMENTS,, I SAW A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WHEN I WAS ON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT UK TIMES, 3 ACCOUTS WITH NAMES SO DEROGATORY, RACIST, AND WITH NAMES OF HUMAN BODY PARTS, AND NO, NOT HEART EARS OR NOSES...AND THEY MANAGED TO POST, SO THE QUESTION IS AS PD SAYS, HOW ON EARTH DID THESE FOLK MANAGE TO CREATE ACCOUNTS WITH, THESE SIGN ON'S I'LL NEVER KNOW..

Hi Harry! :) Great to get to know you a little more. I know the people you are referring to...I was shocked to see their user names as well. Very vulgar, and the stuff they posted...same quality. I was shocked since I thought there was good censorship on this site. Well...I don't now why sometimes people can be mean with the comments they make, but if this is a community...then we need to stick up for one another...like you did for me a while back. Will never forget it! Thanks! :)

I had a good friend on another poetry site. He had hundreds of poems posted. He got a hater messing with him and dropped off the face of the planet. Haven't heard fom him since. Nasy words especially hurt poets, I reckon.

Harry - I am friends with Sukmawati on FB...we communicate occasionally but I was not aware that she deleted her poems...I know she is from Jakarta, Indonesia and like Becca said, she is a real sweetheart and an extremely talented poet...As for the other stuff, I agree with Ruben...They're probably just bored and spoiled kids getting some kicks and showing off - Tim

Hello Harry, it is Sad to see her gone.. :-(... I also agree with Ruben, I told Nathan, I have a feeling its a couple of bored teenagers. I did not get a chance on reading them annoying names. but, i can imagine... always~ LINDA

This is a shame. I came from Lulu which was a great site until people started abusing it and then it went away. Now that i came here I am hearing the same thing. I haven't experienced it yet. I too do not understand these sick minds. Their lives must be really empty.

Dear Harry, Hope this finds YOU and YOURS Healthy and High in the Spirit. I have not been a victim on the Soup; but my regular E-mail. Three times since Oct. I have gotton deroggatory remarks telling me to leave the SOUP to make room for real POETS.When I reply back I get that log-in has not been taken. I am baffled as to why anyone would be so mean. harry, I think you saw the same guy I was seeing. I blocked him immediately. That's too bad about Sukmawati. I sure hope it was not one of those horrid non poets who was making vulgar comments that drove her away, but even worse would be if it was for another reason that she left, such as a regular soup member hurting her? It's very strange to wonder where a person goes when they just disappear that way!!
