Bloggers Photo My love of poetry was instilled in me by my father (my muse from beyond). He would read or recite many great poems, including his own, during my childhood. I'm a lifelong student of words in many languages. Rhyme is especially dear to me. I try to make my poetry flow off the tongue and have a message for everyone. It's wonderful when a poem holds a personal meaning for the reader. I've been privileged to serve my country (USA) during war and peace both overseas and home. Traveling and meeting people from different cultures has enriched my life and my poetry. Although my senior years have slowed me down, I push myself to see and learn new things and I continue to dream of the future.
