House of the Crescent Moon

There is a house in my backyard
they call the 'Crescent Moon'.
I visit more than I would like
but, then no one's immune.

I've passed many an hour there,
pants below my knees.
The place is open day and night.
You can come whenever you please.

Just go in and have a seat;
You're welcome one and all.
Take a load off your feet
when nature makes that call.

So, don't be afraid to make a move.
You can even bring a friend;
Just in case, there's a double seat
and you'll be happy in the end.

Jan T. I have read and like your work very much, great meter and rhyme, easy to read and a pleasure. Subjects that most people can relate to without being ladened with philosophical metaphors is what I call real poetry.......and a little poop helps too. And I agree, Jan A. is an inspiration God Bless

Definitely more interesting than a bicycle built for two, Janece. I see that your imagination is clearly 'on the loose' with this one. In case it gets too loose, it's either Immodium or paregoric---or maybe the long-forgotten 'Archie Bell and the Tyrells' with their (eminently forgettable) two minutes of fame, 'Tighten Up.' :) gw

I think you are well versed in potty humor. Sometimes I just get too heavy and serious with my poetry and have to 'loosen up' a bit.
