Dancing Fairies Nursery Rhyme
When the sun is bright as day
little fairies come out to play.
They dance around the fairy pond
holding a sparkling fairy wand.
I've seen them there many a time.
Their song is sung in pantomime.
I do not know from where they come
or why they suddenly go glum.
They don't appear when the weather's bad.
I think the dark clouds make them sad.
I know they go to sleep at night
but return at dawn's first light.
If you believe in fairies too,
then this is what you should do:
sing them a little fairy song
and maybe the fairies will dance along.
