Never had I heard a flutter so clear!
nor more distinct than the settle of midnight wings;
Soft gray wings spreading, fanning
coming to gentle fold,
soon to follow, a nightingale's song,
lilting the air.
Such a blessed union is rare!
Light and dark shadows tranquilly sharing space
One perfect moment seemingly forgiving,
as gentle as the harmonious embrace,
of bird and sky !
Never have I felt so powerful against the night !
no more indefinite than a feather in the wind.
My heart beating slow as time
comes to a standstill before the soft caress
of a nightingale in flight!
Chiaroscuro moments on the soul
oh how I wish that I had wings
to fly and meet him in mid air....
never had I heard a flutter so clear nor a song
so very dear to me...
The End.
A creation by Joe and Mystic
I give thanks to the man who began this venture
and gave me a chance to fly with it lol

Such a blessed

often fought over space – for
a perfect moment, seeming to
forgive and harmoniously embrace --

I witnessed a body lying
On the dead earth while formless and dismal
A mire swollen and dying
From this body arose a child so small
Out of the flesh stinking of gall
A child whiter than a pearly lily
Who flew into paradise tranquilly
The foulness of flesh remained not
The child’s pureness left the world’s morbilli
For water and fire begot
Inspired by a passage from "Revelations of Divine Love" by Julian of Norwich, in the long text version.

Pearlescent specks were sprinkles in a sky
that would have been dark but for the white
of those ivory flakes I saw
twirling so tranquilly down.
Swirls of serenity -
those pearls of the night
filled me sweetly
with delight
before
bed.
When
I woke,
I looked out
my window to
see what night had brought.
While I had been buried
in dreams gone unremembered,
dull barren land of December
lay enfolded pristinely beneath
a beautiful argent eiderdown quilt.

I want none of my body
to touch anything,
As if a layer of nothingness
forms around me,
Wrapping me up like a present,
Isolating me from everything else.
I'll hover in air just like a
rejected love letter.
I dont want to fall down,
I want to levitate,
levitate to God
and spend a day with him,
We'll play cards,smoke and talk
about pop culture and
women's bodies.
Then we'll eat something,
not too heavy , but light,
maybe an orange juice would do.
then we'll go for a ride
as slow as we can, since
i can't handle speed (i get these headaches).
I'll ask him about the loss
of his first love,
I'll speak more rather than listen,
I know he's stupid,
Then I'll ask him to give me
some of his powers
just to misuse it ,
just to create some beings
called humans.
When it's time to leave,
I'll tell him how much
I love him
and how badly i want
to kill him,
To stab him right in the throat,
Maybe a few kisses on his face
and watch him die tranquilly.
Then I'll come back here and
get ready for college,
And i'll realise it was not God
that i met , it was the Devil.
God is not up in the sky,
God is under the ground.

"We gave the future to the winds, and slumbered tranquilly in the present, weaving the dull world around us into dreams." - Edgar Allan Poe
Like plaited braids our lives entwine,
yet such a fragile web we weave.
The busy dizzy looms of life
whose lovely woven linen lies
are wet with tears on wrinkled wishes,
and lips amiss from kissing shuttles.
Emotions cross and interlace -
pricked fingers bleed - awake! a dream?
Yet still, of life - is much the same,
where treadles endless treading toils...

I drowned in the ocean of tranquilly
I was like driftwood
turning deeply in the empathic sea
My orbs
became my listening device
soft mud preserved my rib cage
In the eyes of the believer
I sojourn meekly
anointing the hereafter
hungry like Lazarus
with my long knows

THE STRANGER
(Weary of World’s Pain)
Stranger to the audience.
Stranger in the community and the family.
A stranger to one’s own mother,
A shadow to one’s own shadow,
A foreigner in the country of one’s own,
in every land he has been in
In the town he was born in
Abandoned by hope
in every town worldwide
on every planet one could find.
A worldwise vagabond,
With disheartened face,
targeted by murderers and madman alike
Across distant deserts and seas
Windbourne with no goals or dreams.
Betrayed by everyone,
Abandoned tranquilly
“friends” fiends,
He has forgiven them,
Perished to the infinite
Never to be back again.
For noone will ache,
love or forgive,
man is a machine with nothing to give.
All life in one suitcase
unsettled, macabre
soaring across dreary universe
homeless, roofless,
with no dreams or aim,
weary of World’s pain.

Sipping wine in the garden
is one of my favorite pastimes
it’s when I can fully exhale
and clear and cleanse my mind
my heart violently breaks open
tranquilly finds me worthy once more
each breath and sip I take
leads me back through serenity’s unlocked door
distractions lose track of me
the bees protect me from peace poachers
I get carried away by the symphony of silence
nature is one of the greatest composers
I’m almost finished this slightly chilled Rosé
I’m feeling as light as a freshy born rainbow
I’m going to sip this last glass nice and slow
cuz I’m so not ready to go

You are alike to a fine paper rose
Perfectly crafted, scarlet and snow white.
Within your eyes the paper rosebud grows
Sanguine and bright, the most beauteous sight.
A petal of white ~ A petal of red
Blend into pink as they shamelessly blush.
Colours of you, how they go to my head,
Remind me of summer, sun kissed and lush.
My paper rose crinkles, held in my palm;
So softly, gently the sound greets my ears.
Retarding my heartbeat ~ tranquilly calm,
As soft as raindrops ~ god's heavenly tears.
Flower of nature must die heretofore
Flower of paper may live evermore.

Turn to quenching winds; cherish what you can't see.
Learn to study vastness rippling at sea.
Birds watch you from high as they tranquilly soar.
Words elevated mend a heart that's sore.
Songs of praise are the greatest compliment.
Strong and gentle, our natures complement.
Thoughts of gratitude charm, expressed aloud.
Cots, blankets, and laughter are allowed.
Shells cling to sea rocks; we harvest mussels.
Swells hug your tee shirt, revealing muscles.
Pull me close like friendly breezes that blew.
Full of mysteries are diverse realms blue.
Sky's palette blends at a quarter past eight.
Eyes twinkle from marshmallows we ate.
You strum your ukulele; we become a band.
Two voices that melt cannot be banned.
Seagull calls merge in a tune that's choral.
Regal beauty flaps around hidden coral.
Sway like moonlit, twinkling leaves of beech.
Stay with me tonight upon this lot of beach.

Winsome Wisteria Sonnet
Eden, open your ardent arms to grace
Wisteria's soft lilac petaled blooms
Draped stunningly about Spring’s sunny face
In softest shades of lavender like plumes.
Your aroma wafts heady in the breeze
When graceful racemes descend from above.
Divine as the frilling flowering trees
Your stunning sight captures my heart with love.
Goddess Venus must surely be aware
Of the glorious sight that you bestow
Like dainty dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair
As zephyrs sprinkle your petals below.
I am profoundly moved by your presence
And tranquilly transported with pleasance.

In tender light of pink sunrise
under a sheer, swiveling sky,
you rescued me on jagged rocks,
then from the haze, shined you and I.
This joyous place upon a strait
over the gently roiling sands,
is where our love rose on the winds
surrounded by salt-kissed wetlands.
Clear, cyan seas flowed tranquilly,
and in love's trance, I fell for you.
What started as my heart’s secret,
I shared with seagulls as they flew.
Waves surged and sprayed across the shore,
mist glistened and blew off the dune.
Then kindest eyes found love in mine
as tides swelled in glow of full moon.
Today, I count my days as blessed.
I am assured by faithfulness.
I’m lifted to your waiting shores
as glistening waves flow effortless.
