Winsome Wisteria Sonnet Eden, open your ardent arms to grace Wisteria's soft lilac petaled blooms Draped stunningly about Spring’s sunny face In softest shades of lavender like plumes. Your aroma wafts heady in the breeze When graceful racemes descend from above. Divine as the frilling flowering trees Your stunning sight captures my heart with love. Goddess Venus must surely be aware Of the glorious sight that you bestow Like dainty dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair As zephyrs sprinkle your petals below. Ah, Connie, this poem is a superb and splendid beauty. A sensory delight! Poetic magic spills from your pen with exquisite imagery like: "Draped stunningly about Spring’s sunny face" and "frilling flowering trees" and of course "dainty dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair" all combine to make the winsome wisteria so ethereal. My parents had A Wisteria vine in the back yard. The fragrance was better than vanilla fields perfume Connie. Loved the fragrance. Our lord is a wonderful creator to create such a wonderful plant, and to go along with this plant, a superb poetic piece by you my Dear...

We have wisteria growing wild here where there were old homeplaces that no longer have a home. It is such a beautiful plant and has a wonderful scent(I am probably allergic) but will take over an area when allowed to go al natural . Your presence at my page is encouraging. Sara
