Other
May Cause Drowsiness
Sleepily, quite tiredly,
Tranquilly and languidly,
Wearily yet hastily-
Bowing to his Majesty
But less concerned and further burned
In all these tales of tragedy...

Ode To Dobby the House Elf
Rest in peace, you loyal elf
You surely will be missed
You were shining in our darkest hour, a candle
Lit despite the storm
We buried you beneath the sand
Where you reside so
Tranquilly
Because in your last moments, you were free
Free at last...

Pull My Strings
In the covert rendezvous of reality
My heart habs motionlessly.
Tranquilly, yet peace-less
In the very art of loneliness
I crave for a minstrel
Endowed with mastery of the timbrel
Cunningly curing the blisters of emotion
And poking my pox of dissatisfaction....

Paranoia
Underneath my fingerprints of sorrow,
Between his determined and swift disclosure,
Few are spiteful for the sake of compassion.
Wide-eyed noise pierces the remarkable silence
While everyone around breathes a tender apology,
As he lies, slumbering tranquilly....

Drowning
I drowned in the ocean of tranquilly
I was like driftwood
turning deeply in the empathic sea
My orbs
became my listening device
soft mud preserved my rib cage
In the eyes of the believer
I sojourn meekly
anointing the hereafter
hungry like Lazarus
with my long knows...

The Sands of Rhyme
Twilight, and the Moon-lit waves
Tranquilly crashing upon the shore
A draught of drink is all I crave,
My sordid Past... all I deplore
Do come to me, for I am the Beach,
Please quench your thirst; drink dry my sands
My ambitions seem far out of reach
As I write my life with pain-stricken hands...

-life Seeking Waters-
Deep the pond
sweet the water,
Tranquilly placid
nestled in safe abode,
Nourished by tears of yester-years.
Vast the spaces
of times immemorial,
Condensed to serve
in segmented places,
Striving and continually
seeking the birthing waters
of the placid pool.
Vain the vanities
of immortal entities,
Chasing shadows
in spiraling obscurities
floundering, for a way to find....

Lydia On Her Blessing Day
Dear
round-faced
infant girl,
dressed in a long
white gown as satin
as her skin, tranquilly
lies resting in my arms. With
blue eyes softly shut, she seems to
blissfully slumber, unaware of
how innocently beautiful she is.
*The picture, of course, was Lydia on her blessing day
just a few months old. She is my youngest granddaughter
and just turned five years old after Xmas!

Rhapsody In Black
Softly the night falls,
Shadowing vacant halls;
My recent morning glory,
Now is nature's history.
Petals bob in warm air;
Tweets of a love affair!
Racy brook, moon gleam,
A time has come to dream.
Night creatures very gay,
As night owl hoots away;
All humanity in a swoon-
A firefly night of June!
Toad hops on water lily,
Stars shine on tranquilly;
All the world speechless,
As if it died of happiness!...

In My Dream
Was I really here before
this familiar place
that came in a dream
I came upon a wooden house
small yet cozy
nestled in a wooded area
surrounded by a fence
a green grassy yard
a thick dense forest
beyond was a valley
with a canyon and waterfall
feelings of tranquilly engulfed
gentle breeze wafted
as I take in a breath of fresh air
I floated in my dream
this place I seem to know
maybe from another lifetime
locked deep within my soul....

Child born from water and fire
I witnessed a body lying
On the dead earth while formless and dismal
A mire swollen and dying
From this body arose a child so small
Out of the flesh stinking of gall
A child whiter than a pearly lily
Who flew into paradise tranquilly
The foulness of flesh remained not
The child’s pureness left the world’s morbilli
For water and fire begot
Inspired by a passage from "Revelations of Divine Love" by Julian of Norwich, in the long text version....

True Love
Nothing
in all creation
can equal
true loves value
a priceless gift
Unpretentiously given
delicately expressed
no accommodation
for superiority
or spite
Tranquilly awaiting
to build you up
supporting
your independence
devotion
is not possessive
A sanctuary
in moments of sorrow
embracing
empathies
healing strength
Sensual desires
breathtaking enchantments
arousing playfully
devilish romance
Most importantly
true love
is
unconditional...

My Lovely Bath
When the shadows fall
and solitude has found me,
my joy grows big like
the suds rising up as I
run the water for my bath.
Letting my hair down
I prop my head, reclining
in the liquid warmth.
With eyes closed, I see myself. . .
floating as my stress dissolves.
I alone decide
when to leave my lovely bath
and what next to do
as I linger tranquilly
in lavender’s sweet fragrance.
